Hullo there everyone.
Here is my desk... or actually dining table as craft room is demolition area and if tried to put these on it you would not see them and wanted to share them properly.
Two piles of loveliness - first here are the Snoopy stamps inked out from Sarn.. I admired them here on her blog and she very kindly offered to send me some and sent this lovely card as well- see here, better photo of pear card - thank YOU Sarn (Sandra of Stamping with Pleasure) - see Snoopy card here!
The next lot of loveliness is the bundle from Artneko - such an amazing ones from new site. I found saw it on my friend Anne's "Ink~a~Doodle~Do" blog and she won a prize for her effort and soo lovely.. see here.
Then also saw them on Lindsay's blog.
To see their stamps, especially ones on 50% off sale at present L@@K here - and if you mention Lindsay Weirich's blog the Frugal Crafter, here, you can get an extra 10%!
These are the two which I bought and are on my desk today...the ATC set - Gorgeous NINE stamps in all and the Muted Bamboo and Calligraphy banner (how could I resist?? :D) AND Annette gave me a free stamp, PLUS a piece of the lovely Japanese Washi paper, and card/envelope with back ending, plus a cute bag the free stamp came, and a 10% of for next visit.. mm, think there may be one.. ;D
For those of you wondering where I am ie not doing WOYWW recently, I have not been best (eye surgery). I have also found being unwell loosens your resolve not to buy things as have been bit bad.. I cant wait to try out thse newly mounted treasures - thanks Annette, great efficient post all the way down under!!
Artneko have a very good run down on how to mount with foam-see here. I love the way they talk about separating stamp pieces and make it like a jigsaw so you can either use it as a whole or individually easily.. see half way down link above...
Also idea of using glycerine to clean gunk off scissors works a treat.. great tips page. Yes mine are already mounted that is something I am usually good at ...
Oh and if you remember me starting a Stampscapes card a month or so ago with the corner that weren't corners :D, I have posted it and some shots from Finland visit on post below..

Flame tree and Jacaranda in street up in top town. I spied when out shopping last week and clicked it on my mobile to share with you. |
The creek at low tide - October school holidays.. our springtime :D |
Sorry to hear that you are still struggling with your eyes.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a worry. prayers offered here for you as I know you did the same for me lately!!!
My DH had some trouble after his...I had to put in the eye drops in for him for a long time.
He ended up going back for a little touch up work and it was improved...not perfect but much better.
He can't drive at night if it is raining and the road it unlit. We drive a long way out of our way to take the highway home if it rains as there are street lights the whole way and then he is OK.
Keep at it and hopefully it will improve.
Hope you are feeling better soon, have a creative week! Trace x 46
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon. you are lucky to live so near a beautiful beach, get your socks of girl and have a paddle.
ReplyDeleteSorry you have not been feeling well, eye drops are a pain to put in and they make you feel odd so hope you are better soon.
Thanks for visiting earlier - just catching up on a few desks before I walk the dog.

Ahhh springtime - I should move to Australia for the next few months - really don't like the winter - makes me depressed - going to work in the dark, coming back in the dark huh! Still the Flame tree and jacaranda are just fantastic! Love your cards too! So many stamps! I am envious!
ReplyDeleteLots of hugs,
Cardarian
Hope your eyes are soon feeling fine - it's so frustrating when you can't get down to serious crafting! At least you have some nice bits and bobs to look forward to using. x Jo
ReplyDeleteI adore Snoopy (though Linus is my absolute favourite character), so these really appeal. Do hope your eye recovery is safe, smooth and speedy. Happy WOYWW!

Hi Shaz, so sorry that it is taking so long for you to get back to your normal self.I adore Snoopy- I have dozens of paperback books of him, and DVD's- all sorts of stuff. I think he's wonderful! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #107
ReplyDeleteSo much lovely stuff to look at on your post today. You take good care of yourself, hope your eyes recover soon. Big hugs xx
ReplyDeleteVery nice to "see" you back again Shaz after your eye surgery. Hope you buck up soon, it must be costing you a fortune!! Lovely images from Sarn though, she's very generous. Those socks I'm knitting are huge!! Another couple of inches bigger and I'd be hanging them up by the fire for Christmas!! MY phone is a very basic when supplied by work, I don't have the need for one of my own as I never call anyone and don't like phone conversations anyway! So that little camera has been my only choice in the last month!!

ReplyDeleteOh those marvelously colored trees. We had jacaranda trees in So. Fla. We had one, & it never bloomed until after we had sold that house! The flame tree ...oh so well named. What a burst of color and the 2 of them so close together. What a view, and thanks for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteThat was so kind of Sarn to send you the Snoopy. He's so cute, somebody is going to have a bright day when you get the card ready. Love the blue on the pear card too. Yet another technique I need to learn! LOL. Hope the eyes are doing better each day. TFS a lovely post. Hugs
Sorry I haven't been by for so long, Shaz. I'm glad your surgery went well and you are recovering slowly. Don't rush things.
ReplyDeleteYour new stash looks lovely, can't wait to see what you create with it and now I am feeling very depressed after seeing those gorgeous photos. How wonderful to be going in to Spring when we are damp and dismal going into Winter. I think I need to move Down Under!!
Take care
Hugs Lisax

Sorry that your eyes are still causing you problems and I don't blame you having a bit of retail therapy. You have some lovely things there to play with. The trees in the photograph are stunning. Take care Anne x #146
ReplyDeleteHope your eyes soon show the improvement you would wish for. Thank you for showing us those glorious trees, they really brightened up our lives after the dull and dismal weather over here this week. I quite agree with your views on Hallowe'en or All Hallows Eve as it should be called. It truly does not belong in the UK either. Our celebration around this time is Bonfire Night, remembering the Gunpowder Plot. Have a good week, and try to be patient with those eyes of yours. xx Maggie #33
ReplyDeleteOh those a cute images you have on your desk, have fun with them.. Great photos TFS. Sandy :)#47
ReplyDeleteGod's beautiful creation around you, love and prayer for your healing and some retail therapy....you will be fine really soon! TFS! God bless you and keep you in His tender mercies. xxxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful country we have here isn't it! Love the Jacaranda Tree and the Flame tree the flame tree is banned where I live and a huge fine to be given if not removed, shame really they are beautiful but also cause serious health problems.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are on the improve now and your eyes are ok. Good to have you post.
Blessings
