I fell in love with the Cuttlebug embossing folder plus card you did ....elegant and lovely colours ....so I toddled off to buy one (as I did with the stampscape stamps!) The folders are so expensive in the UK for what they are .... I have loads of folders already some 5x7 so I am going to use one of those and cut an aperture with a nestie shape to see if I can mimic your card ....£25 per folder over here!! Can't justify that price but I adore what you did with it ! xxEileenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16188813626809936172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1359905425914127607.post-27447261471213846842011-01-24T08:11:32.889+11:002011-01-24T08:11:32.889+11:00Just popped back to say there is something on my b...Just popped back to say there is something on my blog for you if you would like to take a look.MaggieC (Silvercrafter)https://www.blogger.com/profile/13560733295194874288noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1359905425914127607.post-4244233548248784442011-01-23T16:50:58.360+11:002011-01-23T16:50:58.360+11:00oh lovely creation made by your Dad! It will bring up a page where you can see the sample Watermarks and you can choose what you would like - keep scrolling down - there are LOTS to choose from. Karen has a tutorial at the end of the watermarks about how to add them to your photos. Once I had ordered and paid, Karen emailed them to me within a few days. I ended up downloading the FREE Gimp program so I could add them to my photos as you can't do it in my Google Picasa program and I don't have Photoshop. Took a while for me to figure out Gimp - is a bit more technical than Picasa!! I keep thinking I should try and make my own watermarks, but I seem to run out of time to play around with how to do it - and then I usually just type in the info in Picasa as I know how to do it & it's quick and easy!! I figure for $2 for someone else to make a watermark for me is quicker too!
Hope this helps :-)
{{hugs}} and blessings to you Shaz!Jocelyn aka JoBear2https://www.blogger.com/profile/05989477127824263685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1359905425914127607.post-65269588262612405482011-01-22T12:07:44.688+11:002011-01-22T12:07:44.688+11:00Great new goodies there to play with! In regards to your question about my ATG gun, I bought mine from Custom Crops in the US for $25 plus $15.92 shipping (all in US Dollars). I also got extra tape plus a few other things! This was the cheapest option for me. I know Scrapbook Boutique (Aus) is selling them for around $60. It is really easy to use but is very sticky so once you stick something down it will NEVER come apart without ripping. Believe me I have tried!
Hope this helps.
Susan xxox WOYWW85 #19Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15657734903814942067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1359905425914127607.post-28583202771447301712011-01-22T11:04:13.990+11:002011-01-22T11:04:13.990+11:00Love the spice rack - much better as craft storage...Love the spice rack - much better as craft storage - lovely stash you have and great card thanks for sharing ~ Nicky 24Nickyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02707973882161871913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1359905425914127607.post-73842881491363749862011-01-22T08:34:31.792+11:002011-01-22T08:34:31.792+11:00oohoo I have a spice rack somewhere, years ago I t...oohoo I have a spice rack somewhere, years ago I think it got put up in the attic, must go see!! Look at Susan Moloney on WOYWW, she's in Aus, and got one for Christmas. I've got tiny hands too (about 3" wide and 5" high, no bigger than a teenagers!), and I was concerned about the size and potential weight of the gun, but it's really light and very easy to use too.

Hugs
BrendaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1359905425914127607.post-19048290491844759632011-01-21T12:04:05.547+11:002011-01-21T12:04:05.547+11:00Hi Shaz, love the idea of the spice rack - bet the...Hi Shaz, love the idea of the spice rack - bet there is one at the local second-hand shop just waiting for me!! LOVE the card - it's really amazing - love the background!

Thanks for stopping by my Blog and for your lovely comments on my balloon card :-) You asked about how I add the writing to my photos. I use my photographic program Google Picasa (which is a free download) which is where I edit my photos. I just select "add text" and type out what I want - have the option of choosing whatever font I want - resize it - move it around - it's really easy. Before I had Picasa, I used my Canon Scanner program but it's much easier in Picasa (for me it is!). I also have Gimp (another free download), but I am still "learning" that one - is bit more technical and haven't really had the time to sit and play without being interrupted. You can add watermarks in Gimp but not in Picasa. I bought a couple of watermarks which is what is on my flower photos from a week or so ago (that was my little "play" around without Gimp). Drop me an email if you need any more help - happy to oblige!
{{hugs}} JocelynJocelyn aka JoBear2https://www.blogger.com/profile/05989477127824263685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1359905425914127607.post-64284280961229710372011-01-21T09:12:26.999+11:002011-01-21T09:12:26.999+11:00Awesome repurposing of the spice rack.
