Well wha' d' ya know?? its WOYWW time again already so please pop on over to
the "Stamping Ground"and check out other bloggy desks courtesy of Julia!!
No cards of my creation showing on my desk -
but I have posted over on the Cardmaking Online DT blog ( please click here ) ! I would so appreciate if you have time to pop over and kindly leave a brief comment so they know you have been there!
thanks so much.
Here is some more of loot from trip to UK this time from dear
Joyce Across the Pond (Crafty Quills). I flew across to spend some time with here and her hubby and we had the best four days! was really spoilt, taken everywhere and the weather was really blessed of the Lord when we went to the Giants Causeway!
Monkey was totally impressed with all this loot! Here is more scrummy ribbon, lace etc. - all from Joyce. Including the copy of the painting of the castle, (we visited near where she lives) Castle Killymoon - isn't it beautiful? Plus two cards, the one in mauve was decorated inside with this lovely verse in calligraphy and then envelope (it was posted to me in Manchester) was something to behold! the sign at the top left was the one she was holding up at the airport! Thanks so very much dear friend Joyce, and also to Robert who kindly chauffeured us over so many miles!
Happy WOYWW and thanks everyone who has popped over for a peek and chat - may God bless your day wherever you may be!

PS. I have so enjoyed the Diamond Jubilee will share few pickies I photographed of the Thames on the TV on early Monday morning here! mad I know but dont look if not interested - I think our Queen is so wonderful and thank God for a faithful soul like her! What a trooper to stand in that wind so long with her faithful spouse by her side! I pray for a speedy recovery for Prince Phillip.

ReplyDeleteSounds like your trip was just perfect! And look at all the loot you came home with. I was wondering last night about taking photos of the t.v. screen and you proved that it can be done! Very nice shots.
ReplyDeleteI do like the last one of the Queen. She doesn't seem to smile too much but when she does her entire face lights up!
Happy WOYWW

Those are beautiful photos, Shaz, well done taking them. I am sorry it has taken me so long to reply to you, but with holiday, school reunion and Jubilee the time has vanished. Our holiday weather was really cold for the first three days, before it turned overnight into a heatwave, and we are now back to freezing again. Hope to get back to crafting and blogging properly again for next week. xx Maggie
ReplyDeleteYou sure had a good time in Blighty didn't you.
ReplyDeleteFAB shots of your TV! I was too busy watching to think of taking pictures. Loved every moment and have not watched so much TV in one weekend. I usually don't watch TV except for NCIS and Antiques Roadshow!
Fabulous photos, thanks for sharing them. Happy WOYWW!

ReplyDeleteI'm a bit late getting round the WOYWW desks this week - been busy making 3 more little wedding waistcoats. Great jubilee pics - what fun!! Have a great week. x Jo
ReplyDeleteOh Shaz, what fabulous pictures of the Jubilee! I thoroughly agree with you about our beloved Queen. That last picture is just lovely... I wasn't well enough to take part in any of the village activities that went on over the Jubilee but I watched nearly everything on TV and absolutely loved it - most of the time really emotional too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely stash of cards and gifts you've got on your table. The caligraphy card is beautiful!
Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog - glad you like what I'm doing with my fabby new pencils!!
Shoshi #89

Hi Shaz, Di again!
ReplyDeleteYou asked about the Dufex I used on my step-mum's card - it's sort of foiled card and yes, the background on the backing card does have a pattern on it. It sort of shows up more when you turn the card to catch the light. Bet that doesn't make much sense though :(
Di xx
Hi Shaz, glad to have you back in blogworld, lol:) I hope you enjoyed your trip to the UK.
ReplyDeleteI love those photos of the Diamond Jubilee. I stayed up that weekend to watch the celebrations live on TV, too (the River Pageant - yes...loved the raising of the bridge:); the lighting of the beacon and, oh, the amazing fireworks; the thanksgiving service, the Parade, and the balcony appearance....lovely photo of the queen with bliss on her face:) She is a really dear lady. God bless her!
Thanks for sharing:)
God bless,
Sarah xxxx
