WOYWW, Stamp Cataloging, etc

Well, wasn't last Wednesday exciting every one and here we are with another WOYWW year ahead of us?
And WOYWW you ask? well, it is "What is On your Workdesk Wednesday" and we are all of to peek at one another's work space. So please share, do! and join our merry band over at Julia's "Stamping Ground"!
Well, here is the messy desk again... and if you think it is fine, it is because I've done the "push and shove" method of tidying :D in best WOYWW fashion!
 Also working on another card for an 81st birthday for Iris, (hence the Iris Artneko stamp used). It is finished and will post it later, God willing.
 See my lovely stamp catalogue, in its folder? { finished, YAY!}
 I promised to show it to you. Two pages are open in two categories, it has been already wonderfully useful. Click on photos if want to see better.
Made a cover slipped inside front section. {Answer to query, the pencil notes are make, etc. and where they are stored in my collection}
I do have four of my atc's here (aren't they lovely? showed Annie's last week)Orange one below is the pIf (pass It forward) atc from Bridget Larsen from Oz, plus Neet and Jo sent a wee card or in Neet's case an envelope atc size :D.
Today my postie brought me two extras ... surprise! one from Neet, and one from Annie - so here are the four of them below. Thanks so very, very much dear friends from WOYWW!

 As Annie's and Jo have theirs, and as all went to UK, hopefully others do too, I will show mine now.
They are all different, some dont know they are coming. I made seven, but did not photograph the last one to Caro (a swap) I forgot, and to be honest dont remember what I did on it!

I have done a post below this showing how I made them, as would make this one too long to tell you now. So if want to know do scroll down, please or click here!

The card in the middle went with an atc to Helen, who was my pIf.
 Well, enough rambling for the day. Here is my phone picture of our jetty and folk fishing when was walking down there. We are in winter here - downunder!
Thanks so very much for popping over for a peek and chat ~ and may God bless your day wherever you maybe!

  4. You have some gorgeous ATC's there and the ones you made are fabulous, I had a look at your previous post.
    My eyes are palying up but they went much worse and I'm still waiting for my 3 pairs of glasses to come in. Can't wait to be able to see clearly again.
    Have a great week.

  5. Oh my goodness...you made some gorgeous ATC's and received some gorgeous ones as well..

    I had to smile when i saw your stamp binder cuz that is how I do mine too. I stamp them off on 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock in themes like you have. But what is the pencil writing you have beside each...Is that the manufacturer and name of the stamp?
    I was not entering challenges nor writing recipe when I made my binders, so i was not thinking of that!!! Probably i should go back and add it.
    I have done my wood mounted stamps but now need to do my cling and my acrylics. I have been putting off that job! teehee

    The beach looks fabulous...you lucky girl!

  6. Is there any other method for clearing up other than push and shove!! Wish I was that organised with a stamp catalogue...think I'm too scared to make one coz then I'll know how much I've spent on stamps!! Hugs Pam#9 (what a great photo of the jetty...jealous!)

  7. Brilliant, Shaz. So very glad your eyes are doing so well. Sight is such a precious gift, isn't it? Can't quite believe I have made it up to be so early in the list - reason?? - no, not just WOYWW - but an early morning prayer time in the midst of a prayer week....
    I love your ATCs - they are such a set - if you see what I mean. And as for winter?? Looks more like a British summer!! However, we are having glorious sunshine and warm weather here in North Wales at the moment.
    Sideways push? normally the VERY best method. I am horrified that I have had to put everything AWAY - in order to get the sewing machine out!
    Have a great week. Every blessing from our Father God.

  26. Love the iris cards, it is beautiful.
    Also love the stamp catalogue, what a brilliant idea. I so rarely stamp because of the problem of 'too many stamps' so I forgotten what I have got and so can't be bothered to trawl throught them all to find what I want.
    Will be making my own when I get home.
    Your haul of ATC's are lovely as well, never finished mine, too many other things in the way.
    xx Chris

    I'm so glad that you've got some glasses that help you see better! I've got to the stage where I need reading glasses of my contact lenses when I'm at band..apparently you can get vary focal contact lenses..they sound odd but might have to be the line I investigate next.

  45. Hi Shaz in Oz, I got the 7's again, but I would visit you anyway!

    I wish I joined in the ATC swap now, I wouldn't have made it to the crop even if I had managed to arrange a lift!

    I have a part completed stamp catalogue too, I have some sheets to print, the printer was playing up and I have maybe two folders full of UMs that I got before I started cataloging that need to be done somewhen, it is on the long to do list in my brain, then all the wood mounted ones in 40+ tuff boxes need photographing again because some have been moved round or sold, one day....

    Cazzy x #147 last again I think.
