Hullo there everyone!
First of all a big welcome to my newest wonderful Encourager - Joanne from France (see here)- she is newbie so do take the time to pop over to her blog and encourage her too!
Here is quick and easy card to show for today. You have to love these new dies I have found - called Britannia dies. Such easy removal with its "Teflon-like" coating on the die. Bought this one on sale from Joanna Sheen, would love big one too but cannot justify it. Here it is with a Labels 8 Fleur de Lis by Spellbinder. The stamp verse is from my collection about twenty years old by Print blocks clear wooden stamp. Used EK Success Arrow Border punch with lovely daisy lace from stash.
My friend really needed the encouragement of this verse knowing that:
"WITH God ALL things are indeed possible!"
- what blessing this is to have in our daily walk with Him.

Beautiful card Shaz! I think it's one of my absolute favorites that I've seen you do for several reasons. Namely, 1) It's my favorite color. 2) It's one of my favorite Bible verses. 3) The lacey effect is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThank you for brightening my day!
Blessings,
Betsy

A beautiful card Shaz, and I so agree that Britannia dies are lovely to use.
ReplyDeleteOur 'Queen Elizabeth' rose bush is having a last flowering right now - until next year. It seems to be savouring the very last of Summer.
Hugs, Di xx
I love using my Britannia word dies. They are a dream to turn out. Just starting to go into autumn here in the Uk. Your flowers look lovely. Hugs Mrs a.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Shaz, the die cuts are so pretty, and your flower arrangement is fab too, beautiful roses :) Cathy x
ReplyDeleteShaz this is so elegant and pretty! I have seen Britannia dies advertised but did not know they were 'teflon'...nice touch! Beautiful roses...ours have ended now. I know you are away and trust you are having a lovely time!
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful die and gorgeous card.
ReplyDeleteSounds funny to hear you talking about spring now we are heading for winter.

Sharon, so happy to see you are back into posting, and hope you have gotten all rested up, enjoyed your holiday, and things are back to normal. I love the Britannia sentiment dies. Haven't purchased any others yet (Mrs. A turned me onto the source..bless her enabling heart!). I'll have to check out the lattice, but have to recup from my stamp convention misdeeds. I really like this delicate lattice, and it's so pretty the way you used it on your card with the lovely lavender. Your roses are perfect specimens...bet they smell just as nice as they look too. How fun, you Aussies are going into summer, we Yanks going towards winter. I was just reading about why that is so, on some website I managed to stumble on. TFS & many hugs & prayers
ReplyDeleteOh, forgot to say: Anne sent me over to Joannes, loved her blog, joined as a new follower. So many lovely places to visit & enjoy such super talented folks.
ReplyDeleteGreat card Shaz, and gorgeous roses :-)
