{EDIT: how weird it is this..??? This post was published on Tues 14th and was up for two days approx.
In that time I was not online and 15 comments were made.
Late Wednesday our time it reverted to drafts in my posts, as original draft with just three photos, no text.
Thankfully I have had my blog post emails sent to myself and saved as backup for ages now, so simply re-pasting it, and re-publish! Curious indeed.
Even curiouser when I just re-published it, it put Tues date up with all comments, and slightly new title. I am so puzzled by all this!

Has anyone else had this happen? }
Hullo there everyone. Well, things are
very much in holiday mode over here!! It is summer and we are enjoying a
lovely summer where we live - some places are very, very hot
(and dry) and had bushfires so I really pray for folks in West Aust. as
over 30 homes lost there.
I had
made these cards weeks ago now.. bit of a backlog - but really love
these new Spellbinder border dies (Curved) - very similar to card here if you want the recipe.
Rose paper snippet is a Digi paper by Donna of Bearly my Designs. Digi
verse is from Word Art Wednesday, I do love their verses and this is
lovely one. Trust in the Lord and thus peace in this life and in next do
go together.
This card is another encouragement card for a friend and the verse "
With God all things are possible" is an old out of date Printblocks
(Aust. brand) with white card from CB Victoria folder, with Labels 8
Fleur de Lis die on a snippet, double mounted.
Here I am colouring the ribbon with the
ink colour I used to match SU paper also. Then added two pearls as
finished card above shows. Quick post today as wont be able to join with
WOYWW tomorrow other commitments :D visitors, etc.
Should post a picture of the beach for you then you will know where we are :D or almost not quite same beach but almost ....
Hope this might cheer up your day, as it really is this beautiful here.. so very blessed in this part of God's beautiful creation.
Thank you so very much for popping over for a peek and chat and may God bless your day where ever you may be.

Beautiful soft gentle cards Shaz. I've not heard of the curved dies, but they look brilliant. It's Winter over here, I'm envious of your sunshine - enjoy it.

This photo does indeed cheer Shaz, it looks so tranquil, thank you for sharing and for your positive and much appreciated words over my way.
ReplyDeleteThe dies on the first card in particualr are so pretty and delicate and have created a beautiful card.
Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us at Stamping Sensations challenge.

Sigh . . . just looking at the beach scene which looks WONDERFUL.
ReplyDeleteIt is FLIPPING FRRRRREEZING here today! Brrrrr.
Your cards are just lovely Shaz. The embossing and die cutting is great.
Hugs, Sarn xxx
Wonderful cards Shaz - so pretty!
ReplyDeleteAnd such a gorgeous beach - as Sarn says, it's freezing here today. Went to the docs first thing and it was like a skating rink on way from car to surgery door - I think they're looking for extra patients!!
Hugs, Di xx
Absolutely gorgeous card Shaz. I love pink and this such a soothing card. So soft and pleasant looking with the perfect scriptures.
ReplyDeleteOh your cards are so beautiful Shaz. I love how delicate and lacy you make many of them.
ReplyDeleteYour beach scene is perfect. As you can tell from my blog photos, we have the exact opposite weather! Have a lovely day my friend.
Blessings,
Betsy
Sharon, Thanks for letting me enjoy 2 very beautiful cards. I'm lovin' that curved S/B die. Been seeing it in use quite a bit, and gracious, it's one I don't have!!! It's lovely, and I like your use of it with that delicate paper on #1. It was a good pairing with the EF you have & such inspirational words too. I see you were able to use both pieces of the diecut. Clever! #2 is just as wonderful & you've chosen some blessed words for your friends. As always, I enjoy your scenic pics. Enjoy your warmth & TFS. Hugs
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card and the sentiment words are beautiful. Love the digi rose paper too. I have some from them and they print out just fine. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. It is delightful to see your wonderful art posted in this week’s creative challenge at Word Art Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Carole Robb Bisson
really beautiful cards, Shaz! Love them both. Your photo is also very beautiful. After the constant rain here it is so lovely to see some sunshine!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy coming to see what you're doing!
Love your card. So simple yet so elegant. So delightfully blessed that you joined us at Word Art Wednesday. A new challenge starts today so, I hope you visit us again. Living you with the message of the Lord in Psalm 107:9, "For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things." Hugs!

Your cards are just amazing Shaz but I especially LoVe the curved border one with the rosebuds on the paper ... just stunning. Love Debbie #61 xXx
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Shaz! I recognise that digi rose paper - one of my favourites - so very pretty I think.
ReplyDeleteHas been awfully hot here - 43 deg today and 44 predicted for tomorrow - YUK! Have been moving into a new Craft Room as B is taking over my old Craft Room - and I am taking over my husband's hobby room - and he is taking over B's room. The house is turned upside down - and of course, when you are shifting things, you go through stuff and decide whether it should go to charity or be thrown out. I even sold 2 things on EBay (my first time selling) so I was proud of myself (but I had a lot of help from Warwick as he is a seasoned seller!).
Hoping you are keeping cool - your photo looks beautiful and I would love to be there right now!

That curved die looks a great piece of much needed kit. Another thing to add to my wish list. The card is just so pretty, and you used snippits too. See you in the playground. xx Maggie
ReplyDeleteYour cards are really beautiful, Sharon! I'm quite befuddled and upset by your edit. It seems everyone is having trouble with Blogger in drafts and in comments, but I've heard nothing as freaky as this. I hope something drastic isn't about to happen to them. I can't imagine us without our blogs and our blogging friends!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time at the beach! Unfortunately, the beach photo is only an empty square on my view; luckily, I got to see your stunning cards! Enjoy your time there!! Hugs, Darnell
Oh my these cards are just beautiful!! I love the SB's that you used and I love your verses. Very beautiful indeed!

ReplyDeleteLovely cards Shaz. Thanks for joining us at Stamping Sensations.

Hi Shaz, so beautiful - like your paper "lace" - it goes so well with those soft colors! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHey Sharon, it's very easy to write encouraging things on your cards (if indeed I do!). They're always so beautiful, and sometimes my brain just won't bring forth new words, so I end with the same ole, same ole! I always leave your post with a smile in my heart, always enjoy your lovely area pictures, and the blessings of knowing there are still Christian people in our world who are kind. It's not always easy to post frequently, & I'm still learning so much. (my photo & card fold skills need lots of work). People are understanding, though, and I've been blessed to have met so many, many interesting crafters in different parts of the world. TFS & Hugs (and you are real close to the goal! Bet you'll makeit in a day or so!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping by again this week, Shaz. It is strange but I just never thought about Australia having regional dialects. I suppose it would be logical considering that a lot of family have roots from different parts of the UK, not to mention all the different nationalities. Hope you have a good week. xx Maggie
ReplyDeleteHi Shaz
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards.
That curved border die is fabulous and you have used it really well.
Loving your beach photograph too.
Hope all is well with you.

Beautiful Cards Shaz, as always!!

ReplyDeleteGreat dies and pretty cards, Shaz.
ReplyDeleteI love that curved border die. i think I am going to order it as it looks so pretty whenever I see it used on cards!
