Hullo there one and all... just a very quick post.. over at "Craft a Scene" they have the challenge " Use your favourite technique".
So here is my take on it, a C.A.S card.
Steps 1.Cut and oval mask with die - mask off on scrap piece of white card
2. Stamp the scene - in this case used "the Sea" from Our Daily Bread as it was for my sea-loving B.i.L.
3. Colour scene image with PanPastels - take care not to lay too much around edges.
4. Tidy up around oval once mask is removed then emboss in Oval EF by "Forever friends - Black & Gold" .
Spray generously with hair spray to set the pastels.
5. Add birthday greeting (Artneko see here) stamped on scrap cad and mount on snippet of black and likewise for main image then attach to card - now is complete.
I love using pastels and they surpirse me constantly how versatile they
are. Just in middle of making a card where focal image is with Prismacolours, and background is PP - works like a dream! (for a PanPastel tutorial see here - with vellum see here.
Thanks so much for popping over for a peek and a chat. Commenting wise, etc. things maybe a bit quiet due to health for a while. However do have posts in the wings.
May God bless your day wherever you may be,
Shaz in Oz.x
