Flying in with really quick post - pickies? plenty - yes Words - not too much!
Its WOYWW or What is on your workdesk Wednesday over here ..at our Julia's of the Stamping Ground!
To my desk this morning:
Well, it is moderately tidy considering I am mid card! You cant actually see it, 'cos it is hid under the white sheet at very front right. It has new item from today's mail on top of it. The card is for a birthday next month, might also use it DT post. BTW love the Cottage Cutz stitched ovals, was able to get them very reasonably (for Oz) from Bizzy Bec's ..they fit perfectly onto most of my Spellbinder fancy ovals ones, here am using it (see test die cuts at front with blue peg on top of it) from SB Elegant Ovals. |
Loved this since it came out, has underneath the "prayers" die too, to match it - so many lovely cards with this set and cant wait to use it.. |
Recipe: Digi image for Romans 12:12 on Cottage Cutz stitched ovals, popped up onto SB Fancy ovals, ODBD Beautiful borders, MB Pippi Butterfly, LOTV Background paper, Lala Land fancy corners. |
ODBD Beautiful borders, SB Petite scallop ovals, ODB Rose Stamp layered on dimensionals, CB Vintage Corners (disc.), digi rose paper by Donna of Bearly My designs. |
This is what it opened up into - the creek, and goes out to sea in far distance. It is good fishing spot apparently as you see below .. a canoeist! |
Well, I'm delighted to welcome new wonderful encouragers ..
a big welcome to Kim of Cupcakes, Cards and Kim

I've always liked that verse in Romans and the purple card is perfect. Well, they are both beautiful, but since purple is my very favorite color...You are so talented Shaz.
ReplyDeleteLove the Aussie shots for today too. What a beautiful road to meander down and have the refreshing water at the end of it. Perfection.
Blessings,
Betsy
What a busy desk you have Shaz - you work in an area about as small as I do - although my desk is very large, as I don't have much in the way of storage, so a lot sits on the desk....
ReplyDeleteLove your cards - they are so pretty.
That river mouth looks beautiful
Blessings
Maxine
Beautiful cards, a lovely verse Shaz. Would have loved to have been on your 'ice cream ride' amd enjoy those views. Anne x #24
ReplyDeleteUntil I was searching for oval dies I didn't realise that each set was different in shape. Narrow ovals and fatter ovals! I think I might have to invest in some of those stitched ones, they look great or is it the 'Shaz in Oz Magic' that has worked them so well?
ReplyDeleteThanks as always for the lovely shots from around your area- just wish I was there. So tranquil.
Hugs & Thanks for visiting me whilst I was out.
Neet 2 xx
A busy desk is always good to see and what a lovely stamp set that is. I'm sure it will get lots of outings.
ReplyDeleteYour two cards are beautiful Shaz and I love the pretty background colours you've used. Beautiful photos from Oz. Enjoy your day. Barbxx
Really love your cards today....top one is my fav colour....sooo pretty.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

Hi Shaz, my goodness that's a very busy desk you have, but it's produced two very pretty cards.
ReplyDeleteSuper photos of your area in Aussie, never been, my hubby lived for a few years there many years ago, and he says it's a facinating country, Kate x
How do we manage, I'm sure your desk is smaller than mine or maybe just as cluttered Lol. Gorgeous cards! Happy woyww, Angela x 16
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful cards, Shaz! I love both colourways. Gorgeous settings for the verse. Thanks for sharing them with us at Stamping Sensations.

ReplyDeleteGood morning Shaz. Your cards are stunning just so beautiful and I love the stamp set you are using to. The background paper reminds me of summer which I am longing for here, as it only feels like two seasons where I live winter and a small season of summer. Lol. Have a wonderful week Hugs~Anne L#38
ReplyDeleteA very busy desk and gorgeous cards! I especially like the purple one. Lovely landscape shots too - thanks for taking me to Australia, just for a minute there! ;) Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #32
ReplyDeleteOh Shaz, what beautiful cards! I love that Prayer stamp set. I've already looked it up online but I can't afford it (UD Dollars 14.99 for the set and USD 14.99 for the postage.30 in total.)Haven't found it in Europe yet, but I'll keep looking.
ReplyDeleteLove your Aussie photos. What a beautiful area you live in.
Thanks for your visit and your kind comment,
Happy WOYWW,
Lisca

Your desk looks wonderfully busy.

Hi Shaz, your desk does indeed look busy this week - lots of lovely goodies in use too. Those dies are lovely and your cards are beautiful. And, of course, I love your Aussie pics - especially the ones of the creek. Oh for some of your sunshine, it's miserably dull here today :( Have a great week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #33

Hi Shaz! Thank you for linking up at WAW this week with your lovely card! It is a blessing to have you join us - have a God-filled week! Gail WAW DT
ReplyDeleteYour desk creates the most amazing projects no matter how much stuff you have on top. Stunning photos of your beautiful spot in OZ. RosA is back at work, must email and see how she is getting on.

Now I am really spoiled, been virtual to the Philipinnes (2 places) and now Australia, probably the closest I will ever get there. Lovely cards by the way. Happy WOYWW Vicky#9
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are just beautiful, love the papers along with the elegant dies, love the border dies on both!!
ReplyDeleteSo good you were able to get out to a place you haven't been to in awhile with your Dad, it looks like it was a wonderful day... I love when roads have trees growing over it like that too form little tunnels. We have some of those in Northern Michigan, and it is just beautiful when the trees start turning color!
Shaz, those cards are so beautiful, the co-ordinating colours are fabulous. Love those Simon Says Stamps on your desk, but a search on the internet suggest rather high prices and postage on top, and as I rarely use stamps, I'll wait to see what beautiful thing you make with them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my page, we nearly went to Balmoral, drove past one day and decided to go back the next but it was pouring with rain and I gathered that the only room inside was the ballroom and then we would be slogging round gardens in the rain, so we decided against it.

Oh, Shaz, you are such a joy, and I LOVE seeing what's on your desk! I love seeing all the things you create with - wow! But truly, the two ODBD cards are gorgeous, and I love the new Scripture sets with the verses chosen by our sweet and dear Grace Nywening. And I also love (and now have) this beautiful Prayers stamp set with die. I look forward to seeing what you do with it. And thanks for sharing the beautiful photos of where you live. How nice you went out for ice cream with you dear dad! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
ReplyDeleteBoth your cards are gorgeous! Love your design and colors. They are really beautiful projects. Thank you for sharing them with us at Stamping Sensation.
ReplyDeleteEret x
Your cards look gorgeous. I didn't realize at first that you'd used the same verse on both cards, they looked different at first glance, the effect of different details and colors I guess. Love seeing someone other than me having a creatively messy desk:)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful feminine creation, Shaz! I love your photos too - that looks like an idyllic spot! Thanks for joining us at Stamping sensations this month and good luck!
ReplyDeleteThese two cards are simply stunning. I love the purple and turquoise and the papers on both cards are so pretty. The bottom trims are so gorgeous too. My mouth dropped open when I saw them!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty cards you have made and lovely spot to have found would make an amazing picnic spot if it wasn't on a road :) so late getting round will visit quicker this week hugs Nikki 5
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, love the stitched ovals and the stamped roses
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us at Stamping Sensations this month
Joan
Shaz, these are both beautiful! I love the color combo & design on the first, and your use of the beautiful borders die with the ribbon on the second! Thanks for sharing your creation by joining the ODBD Shining the Light Challenge this week!
