Embossed Brusho Resist Cards + Christmas Challenge at Scrappy MO's

Well, this financial year and month of June almost over. So I'm scampering to catch up with a couple of challenges... hopefully not too late, busy plus!
I'm making a whole lot prayer for you or thinking of you cards and seem to need them almost before they're done, so made three, needed two more and now of seven, is only one left! And as they've all used Snippets I'm off to The Snippets Playground, too... yay!!!
Second batch of backgrounds, first image is first batch and now find need two more today.. so will be more .. they are all so very very different too!
The Embossed Resist with brushos are made for the Foiled Fox who've a Resist challenge going on, run by Heather Telford over here, I do love her work!! And here are some of her blog samples too Here
Now to my Resist cards. I saw Heather first sample using background stamp and brushos I think or maybe watercolour, anyway I wanted use brushos. Best stamp for purpose - with lots of empty space but detail too, Hero Arts Dandelion Frame, not sure if available or not, I've had it for years... see desk last week where started them.. for full details with brushos see Here.
NOTE: If using brushos on emboss Resist, AND if there's lots of detail you need to work the brusho water colour more into the detail .. more than you do for other type of brushos. I used finger tips and of course have stained hands for days. 😉 A brush probably would work too. I always mean to wear gloves but rarely do.
I wanted to use my new Hero Arts Prayers and hugs set, a kind gift from Ginny Maxam. I've now made six cards with this. Thanks Ginny!! ♡♡
TIP: I've found with this set it's easier to die cut the word "prayers" then with Mini misti stamp the word "prayers" in ink choice. As it is a clear stamp it is easier to line it up, rather than the actual die which you can't see through.
Easier to line up layers like these whilst die cut still in situ, I use double sided tape or double sided paper. If careful it stays it nicely till removed.

This was for my dear aunty Helen, who has melanomas throughout, even in her brain, on radical treatment which i am praying will spare her for time to come. All prayer appreciated for her. I had made her a "hugs and prayers" card already some months ago, and wanted a different one for her the "with love' die by Waffle Flower. I added all the colours she loves.
TIP: **With brushos I found you can layer them. If not quite right as this was, simply dab off with paper towel and add more colours and spritz more water. All are stamped on watercolour paper. This was amazing when layered few more on.
Also joining in the June Rudolph's days over at Scrappy Mo's Christmas Challenge. Brusho on gloss card and smooth over with cling wrap for night sky.
(Oh, and don't tell anyone but an item I'd ordered in April was refunded cos no longer available. At first I was sad then thought, "hey! I could get some Oxides with that", and guess what I have my extra few Distress Oxides, to make seven. Happy dance! OK, was on buying ban then - and now back on it again! Wee break out, and just as they arrived what does TH do? bring out twelve more. I'll never have any more than prob. have now though. How much ink can I use in one lifetime? They blend layers and mix so well, after all.)
Linking up with Annie's Friday Smiles.  as it is Friday.. I hope these seven cards bring smiles to everyone and as I gave some by hand I know they did!!
To Aussie shots one coastal and one inland from our wandering 4WD caravanning family - thanks Rob!  😉
Taken on my mobile ... loved the LORD's handiwork in the sky that day, black dot on wave is a surfer, and some seagulls around too. Not quite sure but think Rob's great reflections are near Murrumbidgee river or arm of it.
Thanks so much every one for popping over for a peek and chat!
May God bless your day wherever you may be
