Well, yes, it's really summer here, very hot today, cool change this arvo thankfully. Went for swim on high tide, too. As its WOYWW or What is On Your Workdesk time.. so pop over to Julia's Stamping Ground, please! My cutting station left from last night.
I'm doing three more cards with that one serviette or as US call them, napkins. Love the subtilty of TH Rock Candy. Hot evening last night so started 3 cards, doing more die cutting. Was fun to try thinking of different dies to use!
They are underutilised!
Now to three cards!
Used SB dies same Sweet & Sassy "Wait" stamp set, and embossing on base card.
Psalm 62:5 "My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him."
Going to close with the pineapple picking ceremony.
Last week then left for week to finish ripening. This should be smellavision! It measured with top about 30cm or a foot. Here it is cut up also, 485 gram of fruit or almost half a kilo. Sweetest ever!! Yummmo!!
This was one of the five spots we swam at last week!
And the sun last night.. sign of bushfires and heat that red glow. Six homes sadly lost at Tabulum north of here. Praying for the brave Firies.
Our frangipanis though are very fragrant.
Well, do hope this has mostly cheered your day. Thanks for popping over for a peek and a chat.
May God bless your day wherever you may be.

I can virtually taste that pineapple from here Shaz. Yum! Lovely cards. I have some clear rock candy somewhere. I am going to have to look it out. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #?
ReplyDeleteThose cards are just gorgeous!! And wow, being able to harvest your own pineapple, what a joy!! Bet it tasted amazing!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday from a country where pineapple comes in tins :(
Oh Shaz how you've used the rock candy looks so amazing and as you say so subtle. Beautiful cards! I did close my eyes when I say your pineapple and tried to recall the smell of it when freshly cut but there really is nothing like *REAL* pineapple. I bet you enjoyed every mouthful.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW & Thank you for your kind wishes and visit today. Hugs Tracey xx
Morning Shaz. The cards are lovely - well done, you've really cracked the serviette technique now... I reckon the golden chrysanthemum is my favourite. Gorgeous sea shots - but oh how hard for those folks who have lost their homes to the bush fires. Fantastic looking pineapple - enjoy - it's all yours, I won't be craving any:-) Many thanks for the recover well card! It arrived safely.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.
Margaret
More beautiful photographs and those cards are stunning. The serviettes do work so well. Happy woyww, Angela x5x
ReplyDeleteI can smell that pineapple from here....how lucky are you. Thanks for linking me but I am already linked at number 2 :-)

Great mix of artwork and photographs. Your cards are beautiful. And I would love to be able to grow pineapples to then eat! (I'm in the Northeast United States, so pineapple plants would die during the winter where I am.) I like your calligraphy, too.
ReplyDeleteHi Shaz, yes, I deleted that comment. Not bad though, thats only the second I've ever had. Lovely cards, those napkins make lovely focal points. That pineapple is amazing, one fruit I actually enjoy. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #1 X
ReplyDeleteHi Shaz, thanks for linking me over. Your cards are beautiful, I can't believe you only used the one serviette, they all look so different - just fabulous. I love the addition of the clear rock candy, it makes the cards shimmer beautifully - I use it all the time on stuff but I think they might have discontinued it now so I don't know what I'll do when I've run out - I need to start looking for an alternative as it's a real 'go to' product.
ReplyDeleteHow lucky you are to have home grown pineapple - it looks so good and so yummy!
Have a great week,
Diana xx #13
Wow, fresh pineapple, my mouth is watering! Hope you've been enjoying it. I love those cards made with the serviette, they're so effective and reasonably quick to create!

That pineapple brought back some happy memories - We had some wonderful fresh fruit in Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of Frangipani flowers so will do some research on them, thanks for sharing the photo.
Have a good week

Your cards are so beautiful and colourful! Such a lovely technique but one I don't use as I don't want to buy more stuff! It's a lovely sunny day here too but very cold with a hard frost this morning. I adore your frangipan flowers, just divine! Pineapple and frangipan...smellavision would be perfect; smell and taste-a vision better still! We are hopingto wrap up warm and visit the beach at the weekend,no swimming yet...! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post. Love all your beautiful cards. So many fun photos. We have had the best pineapples ever this year. Buy one every time we shop. Have a good week . #19 hAPPY heaRT DaY.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, so pretty and a great idea to use serviettes.

Great space. Have a good WOYWW xx Jan (22)
ReplyDeleteOh my, I think I can smell that pineapple! I've never eaten a pineapple freshly cut, would love to try it! Summer. . .so far away for us, so nice to be able to see you enjoying the beach, the flowers and the warm weather while we can only dream of it here! Your cards are beautiful, as always. So much work, so much talent! Have a wonderful week in the sun, and hopefully the fires will be out soon and no one else will lose their homes - so sad. Lindart #26
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Frangipani picture, certainly a cheery flower. Especially after seeing what could be fires. The good weather always comes with a drawback - well, some times it does.
ReplyDeleteLovely cards using napkins Shaz, something I never do but often wish I had done when I see a card as lovely as those.
Pineapple after tea for us in the fruit salad - unfortunately not grown here!
Have a wonderful week and enjoy your beach swims.
Blessings, Neet xx
Gorgeous cards and your fresh pineapple made my mouth water! Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a great week. Love and God Bless, Caro x (#27)
ReplyDeleteSo many things to love about this post my dear Shaz. The cards are absolutely gorgeous. And I love the verse about waiting on the Lord. I keep reminding myself of that. I tend to get impatient at times. Thank you for sharing the pineapple with us. I’m amazed that you grew it from so very tiny. I can almost taste it. I love pineapple. It’s one of my favorite things about being in Hawaii when we visit. I eat fresh pineapple every day when we go there. I’m so sorry the fires are still raging. I am keeping you and your beautiful country in my prayers. Stay safe my friend. Many blessings, Betsy
ReplyDeleteYour serviette cards are so pretty, beautifully put together. Oh my goodness, you grow your own pineapple... how amazing, I'd love to do that but the UK has rather an unkind weather climate. There is nothing quite like pineapple, I do hope you enjoyed all that yumminess x
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards Shaz. The pineapple looks sooo Yummy..Loz
ReplyDeleteGood job with the cards!
ReplyDeleteLove the glitter!
Love pineapple too! It looks fabulous!
How wonderful- love the napkin cards. Pretty mix of images and colors. Stopped in to say Hello. Mom passed away in December, so thought I would have more free time....hahaha not so much!
ReplyDeleteMore pretty tropical inspired cards Shaz and I'm not surprises with all that beauty surrounding you not to mention pineapples growing in the back garden. many thanks for joining us at Stamping Sensations again.

Wonderful post! I enjoyed admiring photos. It is my dream to eat fresh pineapple and to go swim when ever I want to. :-)
ReplyDeleteYour cards with serviette are amazing. Really nice patterns.
Hugs, Sonja
The napkins are making gorgeous cards, I try to use my dies too, they give such lovely frames!
ReplyDeleteYour pineapple looks so yummy, wow that was a nice big size!
Sorry to hear about the fires and homes lost, there was so much of that here in America too this past year, praying it ends soon.
The flowers are just beautiful, love the pretty yellow centers!
Beautiful set of cheerful cards and beautiful photos. Thank you for your comments on my blog last week and the tip on the CAS Stencil challenge, i will take a peek. Emmax
ReplyDeleteYour cards are just stunning Sharon, you use those serviette's so well on a card-you are so clever with them and I am so loving these cards! I love the die's you have used as well as the embossing folders. No one can make elegant cards as well as you my friend. Oh my, that pineapple is looking so yummy! Nothing like fresh pineapple picked from your own garden I'm sure! That water looks so inviting especially on a hot day! I'm so sorry to hear 6 homes were lost to fire, I pray for those people and the firemen fighting these fires. Very stunning photo though. That is a beautiful flower plant too, such beautiful petals. I wish we had smell-a-vision! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteFab cards using the dies and napkins. Your site warms my heart to see your creations and surroundings.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous and yummy looking pineapple, how fun to be able to grow your own! Your cards are just as sweet too, love all your wonderful flowers.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and elegant cards. Lovely images and great coloring. Thank you for joining Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteMore beautiful serviette cards . Love the one you have made for my challenge. I love lilac bushes. I have a very pretty pot variety in my back garden. Thankyou for coming and spinning the new style butterfly challenge with me. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining at Stamping Sensations challenge.
These cards are so beautiful. Love the garden theme with all the flowers. So blessed that you joined our Challenge at Word Art Wednesday and would like to invite you again to link with us at the new challenge that started today. Leaving you with God's Word in 1 John 2:15-17 which says, "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever." Have a blessed and wonderful week.
