Scrappy Mo's Christmas Challenge + WOYWW

Just quickly sharing, for two reasons. Firstly  for Christmas card challenge - over at Scrappy Mo's!
It's  also Wednesday so time for WOYWW over at Julia's Stamping Ground - pop over to see stunning desks of the world. Certainly more interesting than mine.
Okay, mine is in clean up "get-some-clean-space" mode. Just finished the two Christmas cards on the left. Also see a piece of stamped watercolour card, it was a trial piece back in February. Male cards are requisite for four upcoming birthdays in next few months. Liked last four made with watercolour technique going to do repeat. Also a female card needing to be made.. not in view but done trial stamping.

Two cards done two ways.. but started as one bought card, just one scene.. which I cut in half to make two cards.
Used different EF, both CB though, and dies are both Spellbinder.
The ribbon label also SB and the verse "The Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the World" is a digi. Never seen it in a stamp.

Still not walking, shin needing a bit longer but took the bird ones when came home through unopened car window  .. blue faced honey eaters love our orange  Grevillia, Birdsong.
The sea shot was taken a few hours ago when driving down to our local fish co-op to pick up cooked crumbed whiting. Yum!

Thats me for today everyone. Had issues again with blogger. Had to write the beginning twice with links and all.
God bless your day everyone.. and thanks if you pop over especially if you say hi!
Prayer hugs
Shaz in Oz. X
Need this well known  but much loved verse today. Underneath  are those  wonderful upholding everlasting arms.
Praise our loving Father God.
Would like also to join up with:

2. Simon Says Monday Challenge  - Frames both  cards have images framed in gold.

  5. So very sorry to hear you've not healed by now. I guess you've just got to be sensible and listen to what your body needs and be a patient patient.

  6. Good Morning Shaz. I'm sorry to read that you're not getting better. I am keeping you in my prayers daily. I have been amazed at my back after the botox injection. Although it's still painful and stiff, there haven't been any spasms, so I can deal with stiffness!
Wishing you a lovely day my friend, resting in His mercy and love.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  11. Hi Shaz, sorry your shin is not healing according to plan. Those two Christmas Cards are lovely. Did you paint the scene or is it a stamp? Whichever, it's beautiful! Great photo of the sea front, so lucky to live so close to it. Hope you enjoyed your fish. Have a lovely week Heather xx #11

  15. Hi Shaz, I hope your leg is improving a little everyday and movement becomes easier. I was surprised when you said that the card started off as a single image, a fabulous way to upcycle the card into two, love the clean white and gold... Keep warm, we have had snow this week.... Have a wonderful weekend... Megan

  17. These are two stunning cards Shaz, what a great idea to split the card into two.

  18. Oh Shaz, worrying about that leg of yours. It is taking its time to heal. Is someone living with you to look after you? You need someone there to make sure you keep your weight off it, not that you weigh much anyhow.
Thanks for the bird photos, stunning, and the beach is so lovely and tranquil.
Lovely Christmas cards, amazing how those words just fit on that tab as they do. Someone looking down on you.
Take care sis, obey the doctors and, hopefully, give us better news next week. Holding you in prayer.
    God Bless,
    Neet 7 xx

  19. Lovely gold accents on your pretty Christmas cards. I don’t think I am going to be able to get one done this month. Have a good day!

  20. Lovely cards Shaz, and good use of one bought one. I use a similar technique to recycle some that I receive and it makes them into a totally different card from the original. Nice sentiment too. It is one of my go-to fonts.
    Happy Rudolph Day. Kate x

  21. These are both such beautiful cards, Shaz. I like the use of the gold mirri as it really sets everything off so well.

Keep forgetting to mention that I think I saw your photo from one of your visits to England. It was so good to see a face to your name. I so enjoyed seeing you there.

My smiling mug is up on Darnell's blog. I don't get my photo taken often so it was nice that a friend kindly took a photo of us and she had come all the way from California to Crescent Beach BC, close to where I live!

Thanks for taking part in the May Rudolph Days Challenge.

  23. Hoping your shin is soon good so you can go for walks again Sharon. It stinks when you are stuck in the house, I know as I am stuck in the house once again. I love, love, love both of your cards, so beautiful and elegant. A great way to get two cards out of one image. Love the shots of the birds, they look like they are loving that bush they are on. Hugs, Brenda

  24. Your desk looks tidy this time around. Nothing like mine, quite ashamed of the mess I’m making at the moment. Beautiful Christmas cards, the colorful images stand out beautifully with the golden framing and white card bases.
