Popping in with a quick post to link up this card set with a few challenges. I've made two more entries for Beccys November Bumper Card Challenge. Do join in please do, and help her break her amazing record! Also loads of prizes fun and games on offer! I love Christmas! 🎄
Also sharing a day early for WOYWW (do pop over to Julia's, tomorrow, Wednesdayfor this weeks What is On Your WorkdeskWednesday). See my desk below.. make of the stamp relief - need a soft brush white from cheap shop, toilet paper - five layers, stamp and a spray bottle.. plus usual desky extras, tape, glues and scissors peeking behind the WOYWW desk sign - a bit of red ribbon the dead give away! 😉😂😂
Now decided to try two different ways, one the same as first attempt above with shimmery paints with rub on Gold leaf, the other with paper coloured in Brushos - I found it didn't bond quite as well, possibly due to paint? so added glue where needed once trimmed it and broke original edges.
Next the requisite seascapes from a recent walk, and a rose photo - just 'cos spring has been amazing here this year ... very thankful! This sky on this afternoon's walk was just amazing!
Thanks so much for popping over - I really appreciate it so much! I will visit as many as I can, but iPad now blocks all bloggers except those with pop up windows comment boxes, or anonymous… found I can do it on anonymous.
May God bless you and all whom you love,

Thought for the Day:
As it’s Thanksgiving in two days on Thursday, thought this Snoopy as most apt - a favourite and oft quoted scripture of mine, is:
“In everything everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
I think Snoopy has it right - or maybe Charlie Brown 😃 that everything should start and end with thanks to God for all He does for us.
I’d like to link up with the following:
Absolutely beautiful Shaz, and very inspiring too. Thank you for sharing the link to the tutorial, although I think you described the technique enough for me to have a go. I love how your cards have come out. The addition of the coloured mediums really makes the design pop!ReplyDelete
And a BIG THANK YOU, Beccy, for your generosity, I am so grateful, I spent my prize money tonight and look forward to using my new Digis over the holidays. Hopefully being ahead for a change. 😁😂Delete
God bless you and I pray your challenge beats your previous amazing records
Especially thanks for such good Christian Christmas digis to use. So appreciated.
Love amd prayers,
Shaz in Oz.x
Your cards are so beautiful Shaz and it's so good to see you post again. Your Aussie photos are so pretty too. We're in fall almost winter here but still having gorgeous blue skies and warmer (40'sF) weather after a week of bitter cold and wind. We're truly enjoying the warmth this week.ReplyDelete
Love the Snoopy meme. So true. Gratitude changes everything.
Blessings and love,
Lovely cards and scenice photo's. Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. Hot chocolate is readily available in the Treehouse. xxxReplyDelete
Wow! Not only this is a fabulous stamp, but just LOVE the ancient look and the tactile feel of the toilet paper, thanks for sharing!! Three beautiful cards, love all the versions, but my favourite is the first one!ReplyDelete
Fabulous photos, here winter is coming and I'm not ready for it :D LOL
Hugs and God blessing onto you and your loved ones too!
Great cards Shaz - who knew that toilet paper is so versatile!? LOVE the results. And I love, as well as envy, your beautiful photos. We're hurtling towards Winter and are in the midst of a back garden makeover ....... and also the wettest few weeks I can recall! The mud - my goodness, Dudley goes out for a wee on tiptoes! So funny really, despite being a little boy he has never, ever cocked his leg so he squats like a cute little puppy - or a big girl's blouse! Sigh.ReplyDelete
I watched this "toilet paper" technique from Christina a few weeks ago and thought it was most interesting! I love how your cards came out Sharon, so pretty in all the different colors. Your walk turned up beautiful photos and would love to walk on that walk with you, so beautiful! Your flowers are looking so beautiful as well. Glad to hear your spring was so amazing! We had an amazing fall, which will be winding down soon. Pretty warm for up, then it got bitter cold. Now back to more normal temps. Crazy weather. Wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving Sis, we have much to be thankful for! Hugs and Blessings, BrendaReplyDelete
Fabulous cards and technique Shaz. I do love how the first card turned out..Beautiful flowers in photos...LozReplyDelete
Lovely cards, and who knew toilet paper had another use!!ReplyDelete
I saved the tutorial to watch later!
Lovely photos and roses!
We are getting snow right now. Might not stay. Depends on Mother Nature!
Hope you're feeling better!
what gorgeous cards! The sunny photos look very inviting too, it's cold and dark here and about to rain again!! Happy WOYWW Helen #1ReplyDelete
It's a long time since I have done the toilet paper technique - I must try it again, thanks for the reminder :) Beautiful cards Shaz - you really do make some exquisite works of art!!ReplyDelete
I have yet to post my overseas cards... way behind this year!
Wow. I have seen a few uses for loo roll that surprised me and this is lovely. I think the gilding paste is a fab addition. Great cards all around. I've done this with embossing folders and that works a treat too. Might have to give it another go. That's Woyww for ya, always inspiring!ReplyDelete
Happy, and thankful for WOYWW!

Hi lovely Shaz, great technique and beautiful finish on the cards. Your weather looks a lot different to ours it is pouring it down and very windy too. Pleased to hear the heat tool is working again okay, fingers crossed it stays that way. Sending hugs for a happy woyww, Angela x12xReplyDelete

Well, I’m still not sure how you get from toilet paper to those lovely cards but it works!! Ally he variationsare fab but the colour way of the last is my favourite. Lovely Oz pics again, I do like seeing them.ReplyDelete
Hugs LLJ 11 xx
It sure is the perfect way to start and end the day. Charlie B has it right here.ReplyDelete
Love the paper casting you did and what a lovely different way to make Christmas cards. It is a few years since I did it with Paul at the club but I bet I still have some pieces. Your cards are, as always, beautiful.
Thanks for the photo of the beach - and, I guess, roses from your garden. They are spectacular, as is the Lady of the Night yu share with us.
Funny how the heat gun has started working now it has been replaced - carry on with it and hopefully it will still work for years to come.
Neet 10 xx
Well, how fab that the heat gun still works! Always good to have a back up. It may be that it has reached a lower point at which it overheats and then needs a couple days to recover….my first non-hairdryer shape heat gun did that. Annoying but not lost! Interesting that the new model is quieter, that it’s definitely a bonus! I’m with you all the way on the wood mounts. My Christmas ones are altogether in a tub with the Christmas clear stamps, but all other wood mounts are on shelves on show and I go to them before I even think of the collection offs clear stamps. The real rubber delivers such a crisp image and doesn’t misbehave with different inks…they’re my friends! Spring is looking wonderful with you, I can’t be envious because it’s always glorious here really, it just seems very far away this morning! I love the toilet paper impressions, the cards are fab. I understand the drying time required and am surprised that you can than apply paint without the tissue reverting to its former self. Means that I may be copying you again Dear gal. Our last posting for Aus is next week, so I’m pleased to say I’m slightly ahead…but….there’s never a guarantee is there!ReplyDelete
hiya Shaz!! Loving the 'toilet paper' technique, it's been on my to do list since forever. Love how those cards turned out. Beautiful pictures - would love to be on that beach! Have a good week, love n hugs Cindy xx #7ReplyDelete
Ha I can't imagine how you have made those stunning cards and used toilet paper too. They really are attractive. Your Spring pic are fab - especially the night lady. x x JoReplyDelete
Loving the toilet paper relief stamping SHAZ and great for economy too. Thanks for the reminder of the technique. Glad the old heat gun is working again too. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2ReplyDelete
