Hullo there everyone .. a very quick post today with a card made in January for a kitchen tea. Sadly was not well enough to attend but did make it to the wedding this month.. have some cards for it too to share soon, God willing.
At the time of the Japanese Tsunami Mo had this digi for sale to raise money for the victims. I bought it and have never used it but when this occasion came it leapt into my mind as suitable. :D
YAY!! my mission to use up *NBUS *(Never Used Before Stuff) is on it's way again. Add the paper to that as it one of Bearly My Designs bought ages ago and well it worked a treat. As was not well did not layer image as would have liked but cut it out with Spellbinder fancy Ovals. Used the favourite " Spellbinder scalloped petites" for the greeting with Bible verse - "..every pot shall be holiness unto the LORD.." from Zechariah. Ribbon was bought at Abakhan in Manchester .. love it so silky.
Thanks so much for popping over for peek and chat, and may God bless your day wherever you may be.

ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, SO happy to see you pop in the email. Zipped over to check your post, and delighted to find this cutie. On one of my fav S/B's. Really great coloring, set off by the elegance of the S/B. Those S/B ovals are some of the most used I think. Love the pretty papers & trims. Hope you are soon back to feeling better and have fun once more. God Bless in the meantime, and keep you in His Close Care. TFS & Happy wk ahead. Hugs

I want to share this verse with you in Luke 1:37 which says, "For no word from God will ever fail." God bless, always!

Never heard of a kitchen tea before either. Love the image and colours you have used. Gorgeous backing paper as well. Hope you feel better as time goes on .
ReplyDeleteHugs Mrs A.
Am intrigued about the kitchen tea so will google once I have finished here lol, I am such a sticky beak!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Shaz and I think it doesn't need a mat under the SB shape - that ornate edge stands out perfectly against the paper. The image is very cute and you have coloured her beautifully. Fab use of snippets too Karen x
I came over from Pixie's to get a look at your snippets make! This is so darn CUTE!! Way to go using that NBUS, too, Sharon!! Hugs, Darnell
