I guess I wont be the only one with a collection of cards since this is the last challenge for 2015.
And, yes, the year has simply sped by not waiting for me to catch up at all.
And, yes, the year has simply sped by not waiting for me to catch up at all.
TIP: 1. Once I marked from base exactly how big wanted blue layer, ruled the line down my scoreboard with pen, as shown.
2. Then turned it around the other way and ruled the other line.
3. Then simply cut by hand with my very good long bladed scissors. Job done!
This is wonderful time saver .. just line it up with base, mark both corners where you want and the draw a straight 90degree angle line on score board!
Thanks so much for
popping over for peek and chat .. will return your visit as soon as I
can, as do love to see your work too. :D
I apologise as have not commented on many from last few posts .. but will do you first, sorry.
May God bless your day and those you love, wherever you may be.

Lots of lovely cards Shaz. I also have the 'Joy' sentiment set, and I've found that one very useful. I love that big fleur de lis snowflake, but really I like the one with the nativity on it. Kate x
ReplyDeleteI love your cards today Shaz! The blue one is my favorite I think. I'm very partial to blue-and-white and Christmas decorating. I have some little blue and white snowman that I like to put out and I usually leave them out all winter long. You do such beautiful work. I can't imagine the time it takes to do such painstakingly beautiful work on these cards. Thank you for your prayers for Spokane. The predicted windstorm never happened and I know that it was because the prayers that people were lifting up.

Your cards are lovely Shaz. WellI couldn't see any problem with the red one. Often when you put stuff aside it comes out again looking fine. I think my favourite is probably the first. That fleur de Lis die is a beauty. Hugs. Barbxx

Hi Shaz
ReplyDeleteLovely cards, especially the top one! Now, there is no reason I couldn't try my hand at that, is there? As I happen to have the very same die :)

These are just stunning! The red card is so pretty with the gold holly and all of the white and gold are outstanding. Don't worry about visiting. I am so far behind and this is such a busy time of year for everyone so it's hard to spend a lot of time on the computer.
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful cards! xxx
ReplyDeleteJust loving the Christmas cards you have whipped up! Very intricately done too. The snowflake card is so awesome, and love love the red and gold die on your card.
ReplyDeleteWow!! You sure have been busy!! Beautiful cards!! Love your use of sentiments and images! Thanks for joining us at ODBD!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely & different looks on each of these 3 pretties. I looked hard at the punches, not seeing any problems! It's very pretty in the red with the lovely PB holly die done with the gleam of gold. Love the stamped image too. The Fleur de Lis as a snowflake was a great design also...very elegant. And enjoyed the wonderful look of your cracker paper. It's such fun reading how normal items can get recycled into another wonderful & gorgeous look. Take care, TFS & Merry Christmas with loads of Blessings to you. Hugs
