Hi there folks - back after wee break from WOYWW or What is On Your Workdesk Wednesday -
our Julia's blog at the Stamping Ground is home base for WOYWW, over here.
When cutting put the piece which you don't want to be cut over the end of the plates as shown. |
I have just realised I haven't shown you how I bleached the image in the first place (26.9.15). Trouble is I take photos to do WOYWW then no time to post, will add quick summary now.. sorry, Julia!
It was a plain, cheap bleach. Frankly do NOT use a good paintbrush to do it, see the stub of mine .. it totally dissolved it. All card bleached white, except SU Moss green bleached lemon. :D |
End result - finally blogged card to the left .. see here. Used good Caran D'ache pencils to colour. |
Note the instability of the purple on this close up, had to touch it up a bit. Daisy stamp is from Artneko see here Love this verse, the LORD does bless, help and keep us, when we look to Him. |
If you've made it this far, congratulations!!!!
Have some exciting fun this month too ~ as it is my fifth blogaversary.. so CLICK here for the blogaversary candy please!

Hi Shaz, love the quick techniques you've shown this week. Thanks so much for your constant support and prayer- I'm getting stronger every day, it's just going to be a longer road than I first anticipated.Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #1 xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Shaz. Your bleached cards look great. I like to faux bleach distress ink backgrounds using just water, it's much kinder on your brushes and you can get the same results.
ReplyDeleteWhat's this about a heatwave, not that I'm envious or anything.
Have a good week.

ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week my friend! Ginny M
Beautiful daisy card and a technique I have yet to try. I'm inspired to have a go. I love to see a messy workspace, I've seen a few recently in blogland which were too tidy to be real. Yours makes me feel better. X
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous makes and super pics. Take care Zo xx 33
ReplyDeleteWonderfully successful bleaching, Shaz! Gorgeous cards and great colours! Sorry I haven't been over in a while. I've been a bit busy finding things to fill the time that I used to devote to Meg - I am determined to not let it be filled with work!
