Hullo there everyone! Been AWOL again but popping back with some more sympathy cards which I had to make in rush.. will miss the dear lady for whom these were made. I made them all blue and white as blue was Janice's favourite colour.
As butterflies picture our transformation from a caterpillar into new creature by faith in Christ (Romans 12:1, 2 - the word "transform" is "metamorphosis" Greek word root) they had all butterflies.
Then in flew Mrs A's challenge - where the current theme is Butterflies + S is for Stamping and/or Sapphire as an additional option.

| Darice Nature Border Embossing folder (these are great folders and don't leave edge marks like the earlier CB forms of these border folders did.). Used the Cattails down side, with Bible verse stamped in Versafine Majestic Blue with Clear embossing powder. Verse "Rev 21:4" is by Stampendous.."And God Himself will be with them.. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. "... what a blessing we have in the Lord. |

| Crafts Two Summer Days Folder, with pearls "With Heartfelt Sympathy" stamp from SU "Close as Memory" in Versafine, EP, also etc. |

| The stamp on vellum in white embossing powder is with an old Elusive Images. It is coloured for the back with Tombow markers, with Rev 21:4 again, and SB Petite Ovals frame. EF is a CB Roses by Anna Griffin... (why does vellum colouring always seem to photograph poorly? it wasn't this bright, oh and the butterfly had to go in that spot, rather than where I wanted it, 'cos someone smudged it) |

| Last folder is "Tied Together " by Couture Creations, again with pearls added, the washi is a snippet mounted on another ... :D verse is also stamped on snippet and used the SB elegant ovals. Verse "Rev 21:4" is by Stampendous. All butterflies punched with Sullivan Butterfly punch, I love this one. |

Hello Shaz, Oh how I love that verse you have on the cards. And my gracious, the cards are gorgeous. Although purple is my favorite color, that color of blue is a very close second. The butterflies are perfect. Flying home to be with the Lord. Love the symbolism. A new creation in Heaven just as a butterfly gets a new life here on earth. Have a lovely day my friend.

Never easy one to make Shaz but each is a delight in it's own way and it sounds as thought the lady would have appreciated them. I particularly like the first with the delicate embossed grasses.

Hi Shaz, Your cards are beautiful and your handwriting is absolutely exquisite. It must be wonderful to add the sentiment yourself, rather than having to look around for the perfect stamp. I use lots of butterflies too on Sympathy cards, they are so gentle and I feel that they always have a sense of tranquility about them. Wishing you a happy crafting week x

Very elegant and comforting cards. I'm so very sorry you had cause to make them though. That is always the toughest part of it. Ohhhh, that view of the beach is just beautiful! Wish I was there!!! Although we had one day that warmed up and made me really long for spring. Not back to normal temps and rain. Our ground is so saturated that the rain can't soak in, so it lays on top of the ground. So looking forward to bright sunshine to dry up some of this water! lol Wish I could package it and send it to you my friend. Hugs, Brenda

These are all so lovely and elegant with the blue and white colour scheme. The embossing folders you have used all add beautiful texture, I particularly like the first one. It is sad that you have had to make them but I'm sure they will give comfort.

I love those embossing folders, such a light and pretty touch to the cards and the heat embossing on the vellum is so soft and lovely!!
