hi there one and all,
Firstly to my desk, as it is WOYWW or What is on your Workdesk Wednesday (pop over to Julia's and please join in, do!).
Firstly to my desk .....
I've some cards to share also, which if finished mostly as presents to folks who had birthdays at end of Feb. and beginning of March. I've some friends who Iove hand made cards and don't have time to craft.. and when pennies are running out due to an oversupply of birthdays in one month or two, this is good route to take π

I've some friends who Iove hand made cards and don't have time to craft.. and when pennies are running out due to an oversupply of birthdays in one month or two, this is good route to take π
Cards I: Last month for my sisters 60th I used stamp, called Bejewelled by Penny Black see HERE ....
step by step shown. Then mounted stamped image upon card. Used a new birthday die I bought on very cheap sale, Poppy Stamps Happy Birthday Die cut to in purple and laid it on vellum. |
Card 3: Also a Bejeweled images, I used the Sue Wilson "Just for You" Greeting Die for it, with contrasting mounting colours.
To the Aussie shots... I've just come back for the loveliest dip ( ie swim) down at
the jetty and the water after all our rain in past week(450 mm or 18
inches) was so bubbling fresh there. Loved it. π Very, very God-blessed
to live here. π
Here 'tis, the jetty! Saw lots of seabirds today, as there was some Cunjevoi (it's an Aboriginal name, they ate it apparently, now used for bait for some fish) they're off jetty pylons, or on rockshelf, brought in by high seas. See photo. The sea birds like to eat them, especially the oyster catchers.

Well that's it for me today, thanks so very much for popping over for a peek and chat, your comments mean a lot to me.
I want to take a moment too, to thank all who've become real encouragers over the six years of blogging and especially those who've taken the time to join this blog too! ❤❤❤
You are so very much appreciated.

First and third cards.
Aren't we funny how we keep certain tools for certain jobs....I have loads of scissors and they are all used for different jobs. I have little snippy scissors, big fabric cutting scissors, paper scissors, medium sized scissors for manoeuvring round smaller items.....etc etc
ReplyDeleteLove the beach pic.
Hugs,

I really like those bejewelled images. There seems to be a bit of a purple theme going on at the moment! As it's raining here, that beach phot cheered me up too. Sarah #26
ReplyDeleteAm loving the lavender colour theme going on here - those cards are beautiful and I know that the recipients will have been thrilled with them. The beachy pics are fab as always - I have some too but the weather is slightly different, lol!!!

Great desk and pix but your cards are spectacular

Very pretty cards. That floral you used is so lovely and it looks like it could be a different stamp entirely when you put it at different angles. What a nice time you must have had swimming, it is hard to imagine going swimming for me where it is still too chilly.
ReplyDeleteYour desk looks like you have been having a good time crafting too. I am lucky, I just shut the door to my craft cabinet and then I can't see the mess I need to clean up.
Lovely cards Shaz - each one is so pretty. Especially love your snippets card and the soft and gentle mauves.
ReplyDeleteScissors? I have a carousel in front of me with 16 varied sized paper cutting pairs in it! Sewing scissors are kept totally away from them :)
Hugs

Hi Shaz. Lovely cards - lovely sentiments, and the colours go so beautifully. Great Aussie shots, too - blue seas! It will be good when we warm up here and have blue seas and skies!!
ReplyDeleteTake care dear girl. God bless.

I can almost imagine basking in that sunshine and listening to the waves hitting the beach. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are really pretty. I like the colours.

Gorgeous cards and loving all the pretty colors you used!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for joining us at Penny Black and More!
Three real beauties Shaz and super shading around that fab PB image, thank you so much for joining us at Penny Black and More this month.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally envious of your swim, the only time I've ever managed it in the Ocean is in the Caribbean and Miama, everywhere else is far too cold, I don't mind bracing but freezing is just not on.

Your flowers cards are just amazing, love so much these Bejeweled flowers and the colours you used!! And the second card is a delight with those Verse and the white butterflies on the lace!
ReplyDeleteFabulous shot of your beach, really a fab place to enjoy! :)
Hugs
Great workdesk xx Jan (41)
ReplyDeleteI've got a pair of scissors which looks more like a tweezer than scissors and it's very easy to use with precision and your fingers don't get tired.
ReplyDeleteI remember this flower stamp, it's a treasure. And that lavender script card is also a beauty. I've made a few card box holders, I fill them with different themed cards and envelopes and give away as gifts. It's much more personal, and cheaper for us, but it's actually a gift with a econo value too. Beautiful cards don't come cheap in stores anymore either.
Gorgeous cards Shaz.
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs

what amazing cards, Shaz. the beach looks amazing. Helen #2
ReplyDeleteBoth of the cards are beautiful but I think #2 is my favorite. You have such a talent for beautiful cards that bless others when they receive them. Your Aussie shot is stunning! I'm so ready for warmth and springtime to arrive. It's coming, albeit slowly. May God bless your day my friend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Great desk with some interesting objects.
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous cards in great colours and love the PB image. Gorgeous.

Hi Shaz, gorgeous cards, Penny Black make some beautiful stamps, don't they? I'm intending to be ruthless and sort those Christmas papers, and be honest with myself whether I will use them or not, not just hang on to them because I've had them so long! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #5 XxXx
ReplyDeleteAll your cards are so lovely! Oh that beach. It's been about 10 years since I've been on a beach...thanks for sharing the pics...(at least I can dream!
ReplyDeleteNice busy desk and beautiful cards! And your beach scenes, LOVE them! Hope you have a great week!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards and photos Shaz. I Love the flower ones the best..Loz
ReplyDeleteWonderful looks with the pretty PB image...and I love how you've used the die sentiment over the vellum. Will have to remember this idea, as I have this die too. I like sentiment dies very much. Really love that fancy SW die, and does it glam up your card too. Always enjoy the wonderful pictures you share of your part of the world. Take care, TFS & Hgus
