WOW! yes another week gone .. and didn't excel in past week, missed a family birthday yesterday (oops!) so posted a belated one today.. better late than never! :D
And its Wednesday sooooooo time for WOYWW or What is On Your Workdesk Wednesday ... Pop over to Julia’s Stamping Ground! Check out desks all over the world! To my desk!
Now these are three more of the ten cards made as "thank you cards set" .. a requested wedding present .. she likes blues and greens, I've been told - so used blue green brushos, on two of them - watercolour resist technique + die cuts on third (used a CCD, comes in two pieces, can be used as one or alter to size). EF is Embossalicious Swirl. CCD for first TY die, and for "thanks" is a CB Olivia alphabet set.
Now to my Aussie shot.. we sat watching the waves this afternoon on our icecream drive :D Am busy next two days, hope to catch up on commenting on Sat. all being well!
Oh, excitement - just discovered have a new encourager of this blog .. a big welcome to Laurie! of In My dream, I see! pop over and leave some love.. she's only a fairly new blogger from Ontario, Canada!

I love the colours in the cards you’ve made today...all my favourites. Oh to have a walk in the sunshine on that beach! It would blow away some of these bugs in my head this week I’m sure.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week.

I love all your cards Shaz. I'm a big fan of blue and green myself and I'm sure the bride will love her present. Have a great week. Sarah #23
ReplyDeleteI love the blue greens of those thank you cards, my all time favourite colour! The white die cuts on top add to the fresh look, it's really pretty. And as we had snow this morning, the sunny beach shot is most welcome! Margaret is en route as I type but I think she's sticking to motorways rather than the scenic route down through Wales...safer.

I'm in awe with all of these lovely, beautiful creations. So, so inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI love all the cards, very different and all beautifull! The quality of paper/cardstock is indeed very important, I am a 'card-snob' as well when it comes to that! I will now be off to Laurie to greet her! Happy woyww, warm hug from Holland. Marit #26
ReplyDeleteI think we've all missed a birthday or two, lol . You have been very productive!!! Your cards are beautiful, the thank you sets are such an amazing color, I wish I was by the ocean with ice cream!!!! I'm very jealous lol,,,
ReplyDeleteShaz, you ALWAYS have some loveliness going with your cards....late or not! LOL And these are not exception! Love the Aussie shot for sure! Have a blessed rest of the week! Felicia #32
ReplyDeleteHi Shaz, just reading that you remind me I have some Iridescent medium somewhere, must try it with the brushos. Cards are gorgeous, she is going to love them. Have a lovely week, hugs, Shaz #11 XxX
ReplyDeleteShaz, I always enjoy seeing your posts and all of the lovely cards. The lillys of the valley are extra amazing! I never have any idea of what your writing about though, as I don't make cards and I don't understand the language of dies, snippets, corners, brushes, etc. It got me to thinking about how my sweet husband doesn't understand my yarny lingo either. I talk about gauge, textures, needle sizes and y/0's, etc. and he says it's like a foreign language to him. But it's clear as day to me.
ReplyDeleteWell, that got me to thinking about God. How His wishes and love for us are clear as day to us, but a foreign language to others who don't know Him. Also, how wonderful it was that He gave us all special talents to grow into and to love doing. And how important it is to share those talents with other. You give your cards away. I give most of my knitting away.
Love the Aussie shot. Sunshine. Beautiful sunshine.
Blessings,
Betsy
What a delightful collection of cards! You have so much talent! I love your seaside shots....we were throwing snowballs today!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful variety of lovely cards. All unique. I love the last photo, water relaxes me and I love to be near it. But here snow and lots more on the way. Hoping in a week or so we are on our way to spring! Enjoy a great week.
ReplyDeleteOh my Sharon, your cards are just stunning! I love each and everyone. I am especially excited to see the engagement card with the lilies of the valley on them. I thought they were real for a minute! Great job coloring them. Oh your beach view is just what I need to see today. We are wrapped in ice here, so a very grey, dreary, dismal day here with icicles hanging and ice wrapped trees and steps. So I'm hunkered down and staying in! Spring will come, spring will come.....one day. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteLovely array of cards, you have been so busy!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous collection of cards. Have a great woyww, Angela x17x
ReplyDeleteGosh you have plenty going on at that desk..just as well you take ice cream drives, you need the head space! Love the thank you cards, I bet the bride will be thrilled. Great idea with the lily of the valley die cuts, theynlook lovely on that card. Is it a Commission? I can’t think of the last time I needed an engagement card, must be in the age where our friends are too old and our children are....holding out on us!!
ReplyDeleteLoads of gorgeous flowers indeed, Shaz! Love your Brusho backgrounds, especially the colours, and the resist flowers, one of my favourite techniques. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cards with us at Stamping Sensations.
ReplyDeleteLynne
Hi Shaz, I love the brayered card. Hopefully mine will look as good when I get round to practising! Beautiful set of thank you cards for the bride. The colours are lovely! Hope you enjoyed your icecream. Have a lovely week Heather #28
ReplyDeleteGorgeous brayered cards - the colours remind me of your Ozzie photo. You are good at this kind of card with the brayer included.
ReplyDeleteMind you that lily of the valley card is something else - so beautiful. What a lucky person the recipient is.
Now did I imagine you said something about wings?
Hugs, Neet 1 xx (been asleep all day - full of a cold- hope it's not flu)
Good work with blending those clear and gorgeous colors!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW

ReplyDeleteYou do make the most lovely cards Shaz. I'm sooo late getting round the desks this week! I envy your sunshine - it's been cold, windy and even blustery snow showers this week here! x Jo
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful, I do like this mix of greens and blues. Great tip on how to use a square die cut as corners too.
