Yes, it’s Wednesday again and popping in with Desky share for WOYWW - What is On Your Workdesk Wednesday, over HERE 😁 at Julia’s.
This card all snippets so jumping over to Snippets playground here, actually so is watercolour card as well.A cereal box makes great background card.
Last card was the watercolour technique with tombows on ink black see here, background scrap card from cereal box, with double length brick embossing highlighted in ink.
So ink up embossing folder, emboss.. and ta-da colour embossed.
Now to Aussie photos, the tiniest pineapple ever, it fits in my hand, it wasn’t attached well to plant, so insufficient nourishment. Taken the plant out now. Usually grow like one in front of it.
So dealing with insurers, assessor’s, renovators, etc from deluge Downunder, not badly affected as some, in two rooms, but it’s certainly a to-do and time occupier. Life is never dull, but the LORD makes it all worth while.
Thanks for visiting especially, if you have time for a chat, I'll do my best to reciprocate, but mobile is bit tricky.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz.x
Thought for the day:
“Without me, ye can do nothing.” John 14:5
This verse comes in the abiding in the vine chapter 15, of Johns Gospel.
And IN Christ we are able to do all things, out of Him, we are weak indeed. Of myself I have not strength, but in Him He is my ALL in ALL.
And thus Without the LORD Jesus I can do nothing.
My Jesus fills every void in my life.
He makes it complete.
In peace, in war, in the storms of life, Jesus is our Anchor, our Strength, our Stay, our Hiding Place, our Saviour and Friend.
If we but trust in Him - Faith changes things, WHEN it’s anchored in the Lord Jesus Christ..
Without Him, faith is empty nothing.
With Him, it’s everything.
Re prayer for Ukraine, I’m certainly praying along with many for Gods mercy upon all especially the innocents. For updates … if you’re on Telegram this is small channel, which has latest prayer needs listed, todays was to pray for orphans and those caring for them, bunkered down as best they can in Kiev. https://t.me/+NxFxDBaeF3ljY2Qy
Wow!!! LOVE so very much those 8 cards with birds and flowers, really a fab design paper and your simple design make anyone so special!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful birthday cards too, a lot of them are just perfect for masculine recipients, so difficult to make! The last one with alcohol inks is my favourite!
Fabulous photos as always.
Sending prayers and hugs on your way

Hi Shaz nice to see you. I hardly like to think how much paper I've had sitting in the drawer for years so well done for using some of it. The card collection is gorgeous and great techniques used. Great photographs and loving your tiny Pineapple. Hope you're keeping well too. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x11x
ReplyDeleteLook at all those beautiful cards! I am sorry about your water damage, hopefully you can get it repaired and fixed soon. Take care and stay safe. Helen #2
ReplyDeleteWell I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had water damage but from the report on the news, I was expecting to hear much worse. The rain must have been so frightening, I’m thankful that you are ok - so sad to hear that your friends have been affected though. The cards you’ve made are so varied, the male ones were very appropriate and I loved the others too.

ReplyDeleteHi Shaz, thanks for popping over to my blog! Devastating floods in Lismore and surrounds. We're about 100km west of Lismore (Tabulam) and while we were cut off by floods and couldn't go anywhere we were ok as our house is on a hill. Only lost power briefly too so we feel very lucky. My son is in Casino and thankfully he was ok too. Sorry to hear you were affected, the rain was so heavy and lasted for days! Hope you get things sorted out soon. Gorgeous array of cards too, especially love the look of the black ice ones. Take care Shaz and here's hoping for some finer weather, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteA lovely collection of cards Shaz.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you've had problems, glad Cathy has left a comment to say she's OK.
Glad you made it over to the Snippets Playground where the sun always shines! The treehouse is warm and cosy and DRY, so find yourself a comfy chair and I'll bring you some coffee and a slice of cake! xxx
Lovely cards.

Hello Dear Sister, I'm so sorry to hear about the floodiing in Australia. I had not heard any of this on the news as it's all occupied by the war. I hope you are able to get everything taken care of soon. I know the paperwork for repairs can become overwhelming.
ReplyDeleteYour cars are absolutely gorgeous as always. The recipients will surely feel blessed by them.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteHi Shaz, I love your cards, they are absolutely fab and the black ice technique is definitely one to try - it's very effective and I love the more masculine themed cards. So sorry to hear you've had water damage, I hope it all gets sorted out soon and I hope your friends are OK - must have been a very worrying time.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week,

Those beach scenes are soooo inviting, but not at the moment with your current weather. We have been praying for Oz. I love all of your cards, I cannot choose a favourite! I am always wowed by the many techniques that you use! Thanks for sharing, bravo!
ReplyDeleteOh, my, where to start with this lovely inspiration-filled post, Shaz! First of all, thank you for the compliment of CASEing my prayers card. Your makes are all beautiful! Then on to your amazing black ice masculine makes, over to such pretty feminine designs, and then a trip through the gorgeous Oz seaside! That baby pineapple is phenomenal! I'm sorry to hear that you had a deluge through the roof and have to deal with all that and I'm so sorry that so many in Oz are experiencing flooding. If only they could pipe the water to our poor drought-stricken west. Take care and keep safe and lots of prayers for the people of Ukraine. Thank you, my friend, for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteBlack ice technique to absolute perfection Shaz! What a lovely post and so full of updates. We have since emailed so I do know that all is sort of good!

Plenary of lovely cards. Your CASE of Darnell’s card are so gorgeous, what a treasure you found there amongst decade old stash.
ReplyDeleteMy first visit to your blog and so many lovely cards in this post! My fav is your NBUS post that brought me here. I love the birds with bits of shiny pink! Great photos, Shaz, I'm glad I came!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely collection of cards Shaz. That is very exotic growing pineapples in your garden;shame that one is so tiny! Will it be good to eat? So sorry to hear you have had water in your house. My sister in Point Vernon has been telling me about the floods luckily they managed to get home before the river burst its banks on their way back from. She said in some areas it has been quite horrendous and people sitting on their roofs waiting to get rescued. I was also watching it on BBC World News what devastation! Beautiful photos. Thank you for sharing. Take Care. Amanda x
