Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Penny Black Stickeroos - Moggy style! Aren't they THE cutest?

Hullo there everyone!!  Well, have test for you now.
Most regulars would know I had a few weeks ago some generous booty from the lovely Miss Di over at the play-ground (see this post back here).
Well, so I love these Penny back images ( for which I will never have stamps. I cannot justify the buying of them when flat out categorising the ones I do have! but that is anther story!)..
Sooooo... I came up with this "cheaters" method.. I have scanned the fav. images and printed them out on good inkjet paper, then used them on cards...
{EDIT: Tip in printing: I put through the printer twice - then they come out as well as original. Also my Canon Inkjet scanner/ Printer isn't a dear one, cheapest around.}
One below is a REAL Stickeroo and one is NOT (oo-ar!)
so my quiz today its to ask you, which is the real one one?
Which is "ridgey- didge"? "fair-dinky-di"?
is it number one?
or is it number two??
Made with:   SU Designer papers, both discontinued,
Cherry Cobbler (snippets both these and the DP were too, so joining over with Di's Snippets challenge :D) + Very Vanilla,
with Nellie Snellen Square Stitch die (gotta be their best one).
Greeting "Thinking about you in my heart, and remembering you in my prayers" is from "Our Daily Bread" stamps, and two different Spellbinder to mount it.
Posted one to France (other to US), last Friday from here in Oz, and it arrived in Brittany on Wednesday - howzat?
Okay - a prize to one who guesses right - name will go in hat of all correct answers - and draw one - and will send you some images to play with - of your choice, even some brayered backgrounds if you like :D
Date of draw will be after Easter.
Thanks so much everyone for popping over for a peek and chat and may God bless your day wherever you may be,
Shaz in Oz.x
{EDIT: Only three folk guessed correctly that it was number two - more guessed number 1 curiously. Those who guessed no 2 were Di, Kathleen and Mrs  A. so did a hat draw and winner is:
Mrs A.  ~ yay! so Mrs A., I will be off to email you now - thanks everyone for being such wodnerful encouragers

mmm very interesting, never thought of that, I have loads and just because I have to have a go I would say no. 2 is the original.
Great cards by the way and you must have a brilliant scanner.

Sharon, I couldn't tell the difference in the images. That was an inspired idea. I keep thinking I'll do that with some stickers I'm saving (cause they are too pretty to use!), but I have that 'rountoit' bug! The cards are lovely, and a BIG CONGRATS to you for the sweet haul. You did fine justice to it. TFS

Such sweet and adorable cards Shaz. I love Penny Black stamps - my favourites - and I love their stickeroos. They are great quality and not your ordinary stickers. Great idea about the printing! I can't tell the difference in the photos. I won't guess because I have lots of stickeroos and it would be great for another commenter to win your prize.

{{hugs}} and blessings to you Shaz
