Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Our Daily Bread Rose Hugs & Prayers + WOYWW

Well, everyone, it’s desky share time over at Julia’s Stamping Ground. My desk shows a special card in the making!
On the left hand side are two cards on the make, just need a greeting. At centre back and right is evidence of stamping and die cutting last night, in readiness for today. Hugs and prayers set is Hero Arts, and Wild Rose stamp is by Our Daily bread (disc). Blue die at front is lovely frame by Marianne. Usual scissors, WOYWW sign, glues, with monkeys etc which are always there.
Next desk is later today when card has made some progress, added the SB die cut (Magpie might recognise the SB Exquisite Lavells 11 set, I won it on her blog candy ❤), the Marianne layered frame with hugs and prayers.
I’m finding things are busier than pre COVID19. Way behind on commenting again, will try do better this week. Just finished three days of mailing out of things normally hand out at church, adding snail mail in each one to cheer folks up.
Takes extra time, but 'tis worth it, isn’t it?
Finished card - finally happy, took a bit of fiddling!
Now to Aussie shots - this time of year in Autumn we have the most amazing skies. Stars like you wouldn’t believe and clouds?!
Well, just look at these! all taken on the same day at different locations of our creek on Sunday arvo.
There is a verse God wrote about our skies..
I reckon anyway! 😊
Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Now these magnificent Cosmos flowers are such a stunning colour against this white brick wall, I walk past them most days on my walks but thought would share them with you today!
Don’t they make you smile!?
That’s it for this week.
Aust is very blessed re COVID-19, our rates are identical on Worldometer to NZ, both are 3 deaths per million, USA 126 deaths per million, UK 255 deaths per million. France 310, Italy 399, Spain 455, Andorra 479, Russia 518 per million are among the worst. I think this is clearest way of comparing.
See Worldometer link here, if you want to check your country out. Suspect we can safely say China’s stats aren’t accurate, as their rate is 3 per million. Mind you they have 1.4 billion pop. AND they did shut down areas extremely harshly..?
*****
Well, thanks for popping over and most of all if you stop to say hi, you’re all prayed for, and greatly appreciated too!
May God richly bless you an all who you love,
Prayer hugs, 🙏🏻🤗

Thought for the day
Well, I thought these two went together.
A simple summary could be God IS in control,
rest in Him.
He may not lift us out of the trial, but He will bring us safely through it, when we put our trust in Him!

Good morning Shaz! Thank you for your beautiful post today. Those skies are gorgeous and remind me of the sky in Montana. Today we have solid gray and it is supposed to begin raining by noon.
Thank you for the stats about Covid-19. I had no idea and will look up that site. It puts things in better perspective. We have a LOT of death here in the US and we have a lot of people too. No death is acceptable but it does make it easier to understand. I agree with you that China hasn't been forthcomiing with their numbers and it's so sad and disappointing when lives are at stake.
I'm so glad that I have the Mighty Creator to lean on during these times. Nothing takes Him by surprise. Not even a horrible virus.
Blessings and love,
Betsy

Hello Shaz, once again you leave me speechless when I look at the level of detail in your card making. Absolutely beautiful. With regard to COVID 19 I would think it is better to over react and put down restrictions and ease once the health system/food providers etc are able to manage. However, my family is equally divided on the issue. Never ceases to amaze me how we can have such differing views within one family .... what chance for world peace. Thank God for God.
Stay safe and keep creating.

Morning Shaz, I love the card you are making, the mats are beautiful. Good to hear Aus is coping well with this pandemic - I think you've had a hard enough time already just lately. It still all feels rather surreal here in the UK, unless it touches one's family directly it's like living in a bubble. Stay well, stay safe, Happy WOYWW Cindy #18

Gorgeous cards Shaz and the happy mail you are posting out is much appreciated I am sure. I am so glad that things seem under control in Oz and that the loss of life is minimal (in comparison with other areas of the world). Those flowers are so pretty against the wall. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #6

Hi Shaz. Lovely card, and some great skies there in Oz. The sun has been shining beautifully over here too - I've been out in the garden a lot - just enjoying the quiet and the solitude!

I love the picture above Psalm 19:1 - what a beautiful view. Not that they all aren't but that one sticks in my mind more than any of the others. Beautiful skies though, quite stunning all of them and the Cosmos are delightful.
That just leaves your card which is really quite pretty and you do have the most exquisite dies which you use to full advantage.
Sorry Shaz, back is no better, suffering with the lack of the chiropractor but trying my best to do things and do make the effort to walk around the garden in a moment of freedom from the pain.
Hope you are well and not doing too much.
Take care my friend
Blessings to you
Neet xx

Your finished card looks lovely. Having more free time now I’ve been able to more cards. But I’m seriously behind on my Christmas ones, I’m generally doing several each month. But I should do like you, get some cards posted, lots of people needing cheering up these days.

Hi Shaz, what a lovely card, and I do like all your die cuts. Gorgeous Aussie photos as well! Thank you for your visit, and absolutely no problem this time - I don't think it makes any difference what device you use - the problem is with my wordpress. Anyway, I got your comment fine this time. I'm glad you liked my little drawings and the rest of the photos too. I don't find the wraps too expensive really; we have one each, cut in half. I make all the fillings myself and the ingredients are very cheap. I do buy nice whole grain wraps though, and freeze them so I've always got some in stock when I want to prepare them.

Happy belated WOYWW and God bless,
Shoshi x #15

What’s that about being behind? It’s Friday and I’m just getting to it! It’s definitely lockdown that’s taking up my time...like you with the church handouts that now need to be emailed. So worth what but very time consuming! Beautiful card Shaz, those flower images are gorgeous And you’ve chosen such a lovely colour for them, goes so well with the blue. I have a similar Marianne die, I’m grateful to you for reminding me how pretty it is. We’re experiencing some glorious weather on this side of the globe, it’s been a wonderful isolation distraction. Keep safe and well Miss. xxx

Sending hugs & prayers is definitely in my thoughts every day Shaz, thank you for sharing your beautiful card. Time seems to be shorter than ever now with each day taken up by extra checks and care duties but it's so important to make sure that everyone is keeping well. A phone call means so much to many.
Take care of yourself Shaz and as always thank you for sharing your lands beauty with us all.. Stay Safe Tracey #3 xx
