Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Bizzy Becs DT Reverse Silhouette Christmas card

Hi there everyone, Time for a DT post for Bizzy Bec's!
And for the ANYTHING GOES NOVEMBER CHALLENGE
.. please do enter you might win that prize.
Today trying another new idea and was happy in end with result. Using Coloured Vellum and layered die cuts ... quick peek here.
Love making Christmas cards .. lots of exploring of new ideas .. rarely make large multiples.
Die cut multiples from scrap cereal packets cardstock, glued them together.
Then added a vellum layer on the very top.
Inked them up with inks as shown, but later added some shimmery water colour paints too. Adhered images to a die cut black oval of card.
... hence the silhouette in reverse.
Assembled the rest of the card.

Items Used:
Our Daily Bread “Joy to world Stamp Set”
(maybe available upon request from Bec.)
Embossing Folder  by Ultimate Crafts Christmas set
Also used a shimmery water colour paint set.

Now don't forget to pop over  HERE at Bizzy Bec's and check out the other DT gorgeous creations, and please do join in the ANYTHING GOES August CHALLENGE - to win that prize.
Pop by Bec's store, too, for her great bargain prices
.

What a great idea for using leftover boxes. The cards are beautiful and will be loved by the recipients. Christmas is coming so quickly. Each year I try to focus even more on the true reason we celebrate. How blessed we truly are to have a Savior and Lord who loves us so much. Thank you for the reminder my dear Sister.
Blessings,
Betsy
