Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Penny Black Wonder Stamp set - Masked trees.

For Annie's Smiles and Rudolph day ... see here

Just a very quick post as made this card and found the Allsorts Weekly challenge on "O Christmas Tree!" was closing toute suite!
I'm a huge fan of Heather Telford's work. I'm pretty sure she has made a card similar to this at some stage! Cut a mask of snow bank and stamped one of the tree in Black Onyx Versafine, and also a second one on left then with ink duster and Adirondack inks inked up the banks. Added sky with moon, used Cool Peri with Cloudy Sky. Stamped the "JOY to the world" wreath from the same set for the sentiment, and added some bling coloured some blue with permanent marker.
A close up, added some more silver die cuts to finish off images, and the CB large snowflake folder as this is 5 x 7" card. Three snow flakes in upper left corner.
Sunset taken this evening (at 8pm).. it just after midnight here, now :D
May God bless each of you this day in all that you do - and thanks for popping over and making my day.. you bless my heart,

Shaz in Oz.x

Joy to the world! The Lord is come.
Let earth receive her King
Let every heart
Prepare Him room
And heaven and nature sing
And heaven and nature sing
And heaven and heaven and nature sing

Your card is absolutely beautiful Shaz, I love everything about it. The colours are gorgeous and I love the addition of the silver card. You did a fanastic job masking and inking the sky and snow drifts and adding in the glittery trees. The snowflakes in the top corner are wonderful, as is the embossing in the background. I like how you added the round sentiment in the bottom corner too. Yep, love it all!
Cheers,
Beccy

You have put beautiful colours in the sky for this card. I like the trees on their snowy banks, and I always like a bit of bling at Christmas.
The sunset made me smile. God paints the sky for us, better than any artist can, no matter what part of the world we live in. Kate xx

Your sky is really lovely, what nice colors. I had to look over the card several times to take in all the details. I really like how you stamped the sentiment inside the wreath. It is all so coordinated!

I love Heather's work tremendously too. I'd say you channeled her technique wonderfully well in this beautiful card. Your snowhills have all the shadows & hues that an evening sunset can bring to a snowy landscape dotted with trees. I can never manage the sponging quite so nicely. Looks great, and I so enjoyed the blaze of that magical sunset. TFS & Hugs

A beautiful work of art. Great inking. Thank you for joining our Word Art Wednesday Challenge. There's still plenty of time to link more projects. God bless you and leaving you some encouraging verses from the Bible found in Romans 8:38-39 which tells us, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
