Well, it's a bumper post today - it's the most important day on the Christian calendar when we remember and celebrate the day our Saviour the LORD Jesus Christ defeated Satan and death by His resurrection from the dead. We worship a living Saviour, no other religion worships a living God.
The disciples, or apostles, themselves were eyewitnesses to this event and Jesus appeared alive after His death to over 500 people at one time.
As the Apostle Paul wrote:
"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas (Peter), then of the twelve:
After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
And last of all he was seen of me (Paul) also, as of one born out of due time."
1 Corinthians 15:3-8
This card is to send to dear one who needs encouragement, the verse is a favourite of mine.
"When my heart is overwhelmed within me, lead me to the Rock that is higher than I."That Rock of course is the LORD Jesus, may He be our Anchor in the storms of our life. The golden rose paper I bought with Marilyn in Hobby Lobby in Florida in Sept. 2018, and I've finally cut into the 12 x 12 sheet, it's a gorgeous NBUS, the snippets are the gold cardstock which is diecut, and also the piece the cream card from which the verse is diecut.
To close with a few Aussie photos, I've had a visitor and we drove to the first two photos at a local beach, the third is the Cosmos in front yard, then one from our creek a short walk from home, so blessed to live here, lastly a rose collage :

A beautifully elegant card at Allsorts Shaz, thanks so much for sharing.
As always enjoy seeing your photos, the Queen Elizabeth Rose was favoured by my FIL, he had a screen of them across his garden.

Really good post to read about the reason for Easter. It's more than rabbits and eggs. I went to Good Friday service on Friday evening without my husband, as he was a bit tired and a bit of a virus. Good music to sing and read scripture on the big wall where worship group was at. I like the card that you made. It's good to help other people in need. Have a good day, my friend!!---Becky
