Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Belated WOYWW + Candy announcement

Well, this will be ultra brief so Julia will be delighted as not on here or ought not to be ... as till so late in week is really what was on my workdesk on Thursday, as took it yesterday!
It is school holidays here, and I have just come back from visiting family and friends up north and this is my little haul from a visit to a Lincraft store which we dont have here...they had these on sale or the butterfly punch was!! the bling and the stamp cleaner were needed. The flock was something have wanted to try for ages and was ultra cheap so made into my bag too.
Please all are welcome to peek and join in, if desired, in the candy on offer - please read post here - and comment on THAT post if joining in, please.

We start school back next week and hope to show you the bookmarks by my calligraphy students - they are finished. They are now working on their texts - as am busy will try and return comments as able but appreciate all you fine WOYWW folk so very much! sorry for my absence of late.. I had to cut out somethings or else.. you know wot I mean!
May the LORD bless you where ever you may be, Shaz in Oz.x

Lovely to have you back Shaz and to see more of your beautiful country each week. I've posted about Fall today and you have Spring flowers to show us, love that contrast. Nice bit of shopping you've got there. I have some flocking powders that I don't use, happy to post them to you if you think you can use them (they're small and light). Off to put my name down for your candy too! Have a great weekend.

Oooh. will love to see the students bookmarks! I am in awe of calligraphy - never managed to make anything worth sharing, but I can still appreciate it, even if the appreciate is tinged with envy...
:)
I am determined to get some visits in before tomorrow!

Happy (late AGAIN!) WOYWW!
