Well, a quick post here. It's spring here and much ado. Time to share more quick cards all snippets again. Needed two quick birthday cards and a sympathy card. Here is a PanPastel piece made ages ago with versamark stamping and Hero arts set I think. Sprayed it Glimmermist.
The SB large Fleur de Lis Rectangle die was fussy cut to fit inside and set the image off. Added a digi print out from WAW also in stash.
Embossed front of card with Embossaliscious Swirls folder + ribbon strip and rounded two corners.
Second birthday card is another WAW verse which when printed off ages ago was added in Word doc. to this lovely Nicecrane image. Added chalk colouring and set on SB lattice rectangle set. Stash revealed more DP and added to base with some lace and ribbon also found in the clean up. All snippets again on this card. This verse is a favourite of mine. Zeph 3:17
"The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing."
This is the sympathy card.. my friend's mother loved blue, hence that colour and the verse also had special meaning. Our Father God and His angels faithfully watch over all who love Him. It's a disc. favourite stamp from 1990's, did pearl EP over deep blue versafine ink to show soft blue. Corners on square are from SB Magnificent Squares cut 2nd largest die cut into four to add just corner. Piece. LOTV image I did several years back , trimmed it a tad, all papers were snippets, even lovely DP. Added ribbon and pearls.
This is photo of where I take my photos. The succulents are taking over here! frequently pull bunches out. They're pretty in flower at present too. My pottery, ultra-cute snail is my card spot! Bought him at a breast cancer money raiser. 😊💕 to more Aussie photos!
This succulent is also in flower. Did you know all cactus are succulents, but not all succulents are cacti??! Learnt that when trying unsuccessfully to find the name of this one. It takes a day for flower to open, flowers for one day then dies the next. Reminds me of the transcience of our own life. We need to make it count for good.. and for Eternity..
A walk water view.. saw some in UK & US had snow over last few days ...so this is for you! We live in a beautiful part of the world!!
That's it for this week.
May God richly bless you and all those you love. Thanks for being such a wonderful blessing in my life,
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz.x

Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.
I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Hi Shaz, some lovely cards to celebrate birthdays and on the sympathy card. Noticed people peering down our drive taking pics of our gymea Lily... have a good one.. Megan
What great cards, Shaz! I love that beautiful blue sympathy card with its delicate die-cuts. Such a pretty verse, too. Thanks so much for joining our HLS October Anything Goes With Dies Challenge.
Three beautiful snippets cards, especially love the second one with that gorgeous lace and the delightful flowers!

Good morning Shaz. Your sympathy card with the angels versus is my favorite today. Maybe because I just read that verse in my devotion when I woke up this morning. Coincidence? I don’t think so. God works in wonderful and marvelous ways.
That is an absolutely gorgeous flower. And it only lasts one day? You are right, our lives are fleeting and so we need to live it the best way possible, sharing and living the gospel. Thank you for your beautiful pictures today. We don’t have any snow yet here in the Northwest but I’m sure it’s not far away. And our furnace quit working yesterday! It’s cold in here! Have a lovely day my friend.
Blessings, Betsy
Love all of your cards dear Shaz - and it's so lovely to see you joining in with the Playground after your travels!
Hugs

Wonderful cards! I grow succulents but in pots as I need to take them in for the winter. Your flowering one looks so pretty. Maybe it is related to Christmas cacti? Have a good day!
Beautiful card Sharon. I have to make two sympathy cards-hate having to make them, but we all need too. I didn't know that about succulents and cactus. Learned something new today! Love the other photo's as well-everything is looking beautiful. Of course spring is such a beautiful season. Winter is beautiful too, but don't like it anymore. Makes me hurt. lol And winter is coming for me, I need to move somewhere warm. lol Hugs, Brenda
Love the glimmer mist on the first, great verse on the second and your third card is too cute. That flower is just amazing, things that don't last too long are even more precious!
Cute teddy bear card.
Thank you for sharing at Allsorts;-))m
Wonderful cards, Shaz. You got so many finished, I feel lazy!
The flowers are beautiful and I liked the photo of the succulents with that sweet pottery snail. As always, your Australia photos are wonderful.
