Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Some Christmas cards folks.. two dozen makes!

{Annie's Friday Smiles down below plus WOYWW}
Well, it was Rudolph challenge over at Sarn's and thought was making it okay but she accidentally closed it a day early, so I'm posting anyways..
Felt at first a bit sad especially as busted my boiler getting two dozen cards made, but still that is always the upside eh?:D
As I give some cards away as presents before Christmas, plus need quite few for myself, and had only done about 36 so thought had better put in extra effort..
Each year buy a set of these .. they are "Pass it on cards" and there are 25 in set for $4 and make fab card toppers. I like to have God's word on Christmas cards particularly.
And so this is this years pack - and then below are the cards made with them with different folders.
Marianne designable DS0908 with curved corners on toppers - 6 cards

Cuttlebug called "Gracie's frame"- 6 cards
Folder is "Quick Kutz A2 frame" - that's all can find on it! 6 cards
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1umQEnci-os  a video which is the inspiration for these cards .. wanted change from monotony of doing others but these take much more time. Plus was using a NBUS Never Used Before Schtuff -  made with stamp set had for ages (Sheena Douglas) never used - perfect for this.

Thanks so much every one for popping over for a peek as chat, may God bless your day wherever you may be!  Shaz in Oz.x

Hi Shaz, beautiful cards, all of them. I particularly like the robins. And I'm chuckling at the idea of you 'busting a boiler' to get them done - what a picture that conjures up :) Hugs, Elizabeth xx

Holy Christmas, Shaz, these are all so brilliant!! You put me to shame with my simple ideas like plonking a reindeer in the middle and calling it done! I'm in awe of how gifted you are - and how productive!! Hugs, Darnell

What a beautiful set of cards.I love the topper cards and what you have made with them. The birdies are very sweet too, and I am with you on liking a Christian theme to my Christmas cards, though I don´t always manage it.
I really followed your link from Annie´s smiles, so I read that post too. Plenty to smile at, and how wonderful to have those dear little fluffy plovers in your own yard. God´s creation never ceases to amaze me. Kate x

Hi Shaz . . . so sorry for closing Rudolph Day early . . . never happened before . . . blame it on my age and a confused brain!

Still . . . at least you have a pile of lovely Christmas cards made now.

Hugs, Sarn xxx
