Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

WOYWW 312 ~ Happy 6th anniversary everyone!

Well, have not been blogging or crafting as much of late..
However could not miss out on the 6th anniversary of WOYWW or What is On Your Workdesk Wednesday with our very special head teacher and wonderfully faithful at it is our Queen of the desks, aka Julia of the Stamping Ground!!
Now- to my desk..
Well, as it was taken this morning, and nothing has happened since then...

Okay, two cheeky monkeys are there on the far right hogging the WOYWW badge and the WOYWW sign. Below that is the WOYWW PiF I received from Jozarty in 2011! Still on my desk! Then there are the stamp sets I had out to make a few atc’s still not done but will make one before the day is over.. that is the plan :D below that is the tree trees stamped ages ago for Christmas card had them out to in hope of joining with Rudolph day over at Scrappy Mo’s  (mm, won't hold my breath on that one). At the back are two completed cards.. One hidden is for a VERY special little someone who is having surgery later in the week, I am praying much for her. Her mummy sometimes looks at my blog so wanted to keep it as a surprise. The other is a very different wedding card.

Have you ever bought and die and the wrong one was in the packet?? I bought online the Impression Obsession Heart of Hearts die (see here). Had this plan in my mind .. wow! it was not what had ordered .. now almost all good ~ the other one is ordered for replacement, and keep the extra one. But still had to make this card with the die (which is apparently Layered hearts die also by Impression Obsession). So scratch my head and three die cuts later this is what I ended up with...I have layered plain vellum underneath the die cut and added two hearts in it to connect it with two joined hearts below which is from CB "love" die and embossing folder set (discontinued). The Designer paper is from 2010 piece (forgotten who, sorry), used also the SB Borderabilites, and CB Vintage corners set (disc.).
Close up.. embossed the digi greeting with embossing powder and looks great IRL but hard to see here.
Not this one.. but his best mate was poking around our table in courtyard looking for breakfast I think, but we provide water and nectar laden plants, that it.. of course Eastern Rosellas are very shy and he did not wait for a camera.
Subtle shades looking east at sunset the other day, when out at my sisters place .. love the colours and lights in the sky and this time of year... winter lights.. It keeps me looking up to the One Who made and framed it all..

So happy from all of us!

Well, thank you so very, very much for popping over for peek and chat.. and will get around to every one eventually as love to peek at your desk and creations too. Every blessing of the LORD upon you and those you love,

Hi Shaz, what lovely cards, as you always do! I had to get myself that SB Borderabilities, after I'd seen some cards you'd used it on! The Lorikeets were very noisy, lol, but beautiful, and so gentle when they landed on your hand. Happy 6th Anniversary, Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #17 xx

Your desk looked so fun today. I was super impressed and love the WOYWW sign. Seeing the badge reminded me that WOYWWendy is six today. I made her for the first anniversary.

I've never bought a die, but it looks like you got a freebie, regardless. And it's beautiful, too.

As always, love the photo shots from your country. Happy, happy 6th WOYWW anniversary from #1.

Thanks for the visit already. I too have a string on the end of my Tim pricker tool. I find that way I can find it sticking out from under the pile of things I put on top of it! Your card is lovely and that bird has magnificent colours.

Love that pretty wedding card! I can't say I've ever bought one die packaging with another die in it but it is bound to happen at some point. Love the state of your desk--just enough to keep it interesting and to have things to work on and not too much to be overwhelming. Judy #73

I haven't been crafty much either Shaz so you aren't alone in that one! I think your desk looks much like mine at the moment. lol Oh well, one day I will clean it up. I love your monkeys, too cute. I have never received a wrong die, that is so funny you did. Well not funny ha ha. But funny weird. That stinks when you are excepting one thing and get another, but the die you got is beautiful too. And I just love the card you made with it! Very stunning card! Hugs, Brenda

This card is so elegant. I love the die but it is a surprise when you don't get what you ordered. The Eastern Rosella is beautiful. Such stunning colors.

What a beautiful wedding card. Fabulous design and dies used here.

I did not get in on the WOYWW festivities as I have not made it round there this year. Must get a wiggle on and get organized as I never seem to be on top of things enough to play over there! My bad!
