Hullo there everyone!
A great privilege today as sharing with you my first card for the Guest Designer for Scrappy Mo's Christmas challenge - Rudolph day which runs from the 25th of each month to the end - in this case the 31st of Aug.
As Mo is in Canada you have extra time if you're in different time zone, as I am!

So added ribbon, bling and silver thread and that was it! you can see glittery bits better on this photo. |
Well, short and sweet from me here today as still recovering (see previous post - if you didn't know I have been very ill).
I keep forgetting how slow I have to take things. I maybe slow at returning your very kind comments too.

Hi Shaz, I'm so happy to read your post and -so- to know that you are feeling better!! Yay!:) I wish you a quick recovery!! Your card is very lovely, full of sparkling but clean and elegant. The sentiment is just PERFECT, Christmas is really only this fact.
Hugs and love, take care!
I am so very sorry you have been so poorly Shaz and equally sorry I only just got to know, sounds like you have really been through the mill and I pay you are soon back to full strength again. I too have been non too good and was sent away to recuperate mid July ahead of our holiday, but it's still slow going with left arm not really working so everything is taking an age and crafting slower than slow.
But it's so nice to see you have made such a lovely card for Mo's challenge.

Shaz, such a beautiful card today and I agree. Every card I send at Christmas points to the real reason for the season. I am so glad to see that you are well enough to post but so sorry to hear that you are still struggling in your recover. May God be with you and bless you each and every day.
Blessings,
Betsy

So very happy to see you blogging again Shaz! I love your card- so lovely! the glitter is beautiful and love the sentiment. Have been thinking of you- take it slowly and take care!!! Hugs!
a very beautiful stylish card - Lesley x
Beautiful sparkly card & love having that verse on the front!
This card really stood out for me when I went to the Rudolph day challenge. I love the glittery card, but I especially like the way you have incorporated a Bible verse with a 'secular' image. I too like the real reason for Christmas to be on all my cards, but my verse is usually on the insert. Well done for putting it right there on the front. Kate x
Beautiful card and all your pretty details!! Happy to hear you are on the road to recovery...it all takes time for sure....hope you are back at full speed soon...take care!!
Beautifully sparkly and shimmery Christmas card, it's how I love them!
Hi Shaz, a stunning make considering how ill you have been, love the piestra tile down the side of the card and your colours, so many fabulous new dies around we can often forget just how many are hiding in our stash! The glitter cardstock the finer looking one from Spotlight? I don't get to our local one often it's over 1hr away... Sending hugs and get well wishes... thank you for the inspiration...Megan
It's so good to see you back and crafting. Your card is just stunning. I love the shine, the ornament, the greenery and the holly. I hope your recovery is uneventful and I'm so sorry you had to go through all that. My thoughts are with you.
