Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Sunshine, Snippets + WOYWW

Well, another quick post. Amazingly it is Wednesday again, so desk share time with desks of the world over at Julia’s At the Stamping Ground. To my desk this morning. It changed a little but not much.
There are some of the Bugaboo ATV Nativity images coloured (I love Bugaboo) months ago but being made into cards. I've cut one more out and dusting around the edge of it. Need to make bases chose verses then assemble. I'm only third of amount I need this year. I think some will be getting bought ones. In midst of sorting Christmas letter and overseas ones. Hence not many cards done.
Here's one I made earlier 😉 yes it's my last birthday till next year and already posted along with another but can't share it. This is total snippets, long ago printed Nicecrane digi image mounted on scraps with verse from print out courtesy of Karen of WAW. She does a grand job.
Now to Aussie shots.. lots of sunshine for you. We went down to the jetty. Here's the marina.
There was a baby stingray in the marina water. There's "No Fishing" and simply masses of baby fish. A real nursery! 😊
Also was huge carnival for outrigger canoe race. They went out into open ocean around an island or two then back in again. If you scroll in you see them better. Also a cormorant flying into catch a fish in middle just above those lovely rocks. God's creation is amazing!
Well, that's my share for the day. I'm truly sorry but am a bad blogger at moment, am so time poor. Had visitors now doing catch up. It's not a usual year this year. However am starting this week to not feel so poorly so that's a plus. Not much nausea at all.
God bless your day dear kind friends, thank you so much popping by and saying hi.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz.x

I’d like to link up with the following:

Today's blessing from the Lord. Often we can trace God's hand of mercy in our life, other times the reasons are not so clear till layer down the track. As the hymn says "It will be worth it all when we see Jesus".

I’m glad you’re feeling better today Shaz. Isn’t it amazing how wonderful we feel when we been sick? I’ve just finished my Christmas cards and I’m going to post them this morning. Although I enjoy writing them, it’s a relief to have them finished for another year. That blue sky and clear water is stunning. Thank you for the beautiful photos of warm weather. They soothe my soul. Blessings always, Betsy

Hi Shaz, so pleased you are starting to feel better. Love the stingray photo. We went diving in the Maldives and there were so many mantarays I stopped taking photos of them ... amazing to see them come out of sand on the seabed. Lovely card as always. Have a lovely week Heather x #8

What a beautiful card, and I love the look of those bugaboo images on your desk... I look forward to possibly seeing the results :) (no stress)
The seaside photos are wonderful... I do love God's creation, the sea in particular.
Don't stress about blogging, that is only a small part of life, and we all have seasons where we don't do much online. That said, I am glad to hear you are starting to feel better
Blessings

Hi Shaz, glad you are starting to feel a bit better. Good luck getting your Christmas cards finished, although if you have to buy some it's not the end of the world. Your Aussie photos were just the warmth shot I needed this morning lol. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #10

How exited I would have been to see a sting ray - guess it doesn't happen with you but we would never see one (apart from the fact that our ocean is not as clear as yours). Love your Oz pictures - keep them coming.
Oh dear, glad I am not on my own this year with the lack of Christmas cards done. I just think that a chosen charity will benefit although I usually do a donation in lieu of buying cars anyway.
Do have a restful week, I really must send you an email, if only a short one.
Sending ~Love and Blessings
Neet xx

Lovely cards, Shaz, and what gorgeous Aussie photos this week. The baby sting ray is amazing, and so close, in that fabulous clear water. I agree with you about God’s creation which never ever ceases to amaze me, and I love your quote for the week too. I have experienced so often, being confused and even angry at God when things have gone pear-shaped in my life, only to discover further down the line that it was all for the best, and amazing blessings came out of what seemed like a disastrous situation! All my Christian life, Romans 8:28 has been my watchword verse. I think I have learnt now to trust Him when things don’t seem to be going to plan. I love Isa. 46:9-10 too - He knows it all!

Thank you for your visit - so glad you like my flowers. As for the kitties, yes, they can be a handful but compensate for that in spades with their unconditional love, sweet characters and endless entertainment value! They are our little family. I’m so glad you’re having success with the 5:2 diet! That’s really great. For me it’s a matter of lifestyle now. Even though I’ve achieved more or less my target weight (can’t shift the final 5 lb but really my current, stable weight is perfectly acceptable) I keep at it, and it helps that we are both eating more healthily on a daily basis, too, with lots of whole foods, as much home-cooked as possible, and lots of fresh fruit and veggies. You can’t go wrong with that! Let me know how you get on!

God bless you and happy belated WOYWW,

Hello Shaz. Sorry you have been so poorly. DH and I are battling a nasty virus at the moment- both have a terrible cough, though DH is worse.
I have been a very bad blogger- lots of things going on. Some good some not so. Love your cards. I am very behind with all things Christmas. Take care and hope you are completely recovered soon! Anne x

I adore the coloring on the images. The calligraphed verse is so beautiful with all its embossing and gold colors. Thank you so much for joining us on Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. xx Ankita
