Hi there everyone, yippee, another Wednesday!
So more sharing time... okay desk isn’t very riveting? Ideas abound on a desk that looks remarkably like last weeks! Before I rattle on anymore for those not in the know.. desks are important, because it’s WOYWW (What is On Your Workdesk Wednesday). So pop over to Julia’s desk HERE to join in with much more interesting folk than here!
The observant among you will recognise that birthday card! It is the negative coloured piece left over from my card last week and so yes another card is made with left over bits... don’t you love that?
I’ve also yet to stamp some spares of that Silhouette stamp by Woodware, as I’ve used both that I’d done! Also I saw a great technique on colouring silhouettes that I’m going to try with that stamp so watch this space, probably on water colour paper? Time is issue too many things on the go... namely doing overseas mail for Christmas.
If you haven’t - please also join in my 10th Blogaversary candy over HERE!
Completed cards - this birthday die is by Scrapdragon an Aussie company and is the main part of the one of the two Candy prizes on offer. Magnificent die ...to see how made it, shown as below on last weeks post.
It was distress oxides spritzed with glimmer mist. The rectangle dies are also by Scrapdragon.
Second card is a Christmas card made with a Beccy’s place beautiful image.
Another wreath, with digital “the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the World.” I’ve dry embossed a single layer 5 x 7 card front, added some ribbon and use SB Magnificent Circles around the wreath. Linking with Becky' s amazing Christmas challenge HERE!
Now to Aussie photos! yesterday on my walk... would you like a picnic under this tree with me? We've had amazing spring weather, rain amd sunshine in right amounts.
I had my eyes tested on Mon and always walk off drops... this was the mangroves in creek and a new to me grass tree.. beautiful flower!
Some more plants on walk, the first is Dietes bicolor (or African iris or fortnight lily), second is a cycad in flower..
May the Lord bless and keep you all well and safe.
Twofold Thought for The Day:
Armistice Day here in Aust.
I am so very grateful for all who are serving now, have served in keeping the freedoms of Australia.
"In the morning and at the going down of the sun, we will remember them.. "
Thank you Lord God for all their sacrifices. We are truly blessed.

Congratulations on your 10th Blogaversary Shaz! What a milestone!! Thank you for sharing the beautiful photos from your walk, I have both those plants in my garden and they are also flowering at the moment.
Your cards are beautiful, I love that you've embossed the background of both. I also like the metallic card stock you've used... very festive!
Cheers,
Beccy
Lovely cards Shaz. I like the embossing and the gold in the Christmas card. Looks like some lovely plants on your walk. Sounds like you are having a better spring than we are - when it isn't raining, it is overcast.

HI Shaz, yep that is always so nice when you get a two for one out of a design. :) Love the glimmers and the colors of the cards too. You always find the most interesting foliage to share. ~Stacy #30
There is just something elegant about gold on white embossing, so lovely!
Great pics from your walks, we are starting to turn cooler here as winter is getting ready to settle in, when we went out yesterday the leaves were just flying off the trees. Enjoy!
Great cards! And what amazing scenery!
Have a wonderful week!

Hi Shaz, it's lovely joining you on your walk wish I could do it for real one day. It's been quite warm here today but I know it wont last much longer. I've been watching the Armistice Day Remembrance today on TV though they also had part of it at the weekend too. Take care and have a lovely creative woyww, Angela x15x
I really like the font of that birthday die. Your cards suitable for any gender and age, I do love this about a design.
Oh that really is a beautiful Christmas card Shaz, lovely verse and a beautiful wreath image. I would like to picnic with you please! as always, lovely Aussie picks..the flowers are really amazing. I’m not sorry you’re going out to have some seasonal fun, I’m sorry we won’t be able to see you on the zoom thingy. I have sketched up a plan to split the day into Three sessions so that we can meet across all the time zones. I’ll blog about it as soon as I’ve got my head around some of the technicals. Nevertheless, it doesn’t matter if you can’t join in, it’s a pleasure and honour to see you on a Wednesday, as you already know.
A really gorgeous wreath and love the gold embossing. Thank you for joining our 'Christmas' challenge at We love Chocolate Baroque.

Hi Shaz your use of those scrap inners makes for a very resourceful card, i'm all for using up every inch of our papers and scraps and two for one can not be bad. I'd love to have a picnic with you under the Tree, if only we were closer and given the OK of course. I've had issues with comments this past week, I hope mine stays right where it should be today.
Happy WoywW take care & best wishes Tracey #8 xx

Happy 10th Blogiversary Shaz! I love that die, I follow you on Instagram - does that count? Wonderful walk on a Spring day, I've never seen a flower like that grass tree in my life! Actually I've never seen any of those flowers before! We had Remembrance Day on Nov 11 in Canada. My Father-in-Law fought in the Korean War, and my Brother-in-Law was also in the Canadian Forces, and we are grateful for all who put their lives on the line for us. Thanks for your visit, stay safe! Lindart #31
I love how you've used both bits of the die, positive and negative. Very clever. Lovely flowers, too.
