Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Mo's Kite Image Paper Pieced + WOYWW

Hi one and all, time is running away from me so lobbing in with a very quick post for WOYWW and to share a card made ages ago now earlier in year but never blogged. As it is WOYWW or What is on your Workdesk Wednesday (pop over to Julia's and join in do!), am sharing my desk.. or as was last night, as packed up now!
Still in Christmas card making mode as you can see these are some images die cut and stamped sent to me by a dear friend in USA. I really love the nativity on these. Used mainly promarkers on them and Wood ware fluffy stuff for the woolly sheep.
In April this year it was Hudson's 3rd birthday... you will never guess that the only colour he really likes is green, would you?? (In July just week before I was sick I shared the "Hudson sleeps here" Calligraphy I did for him)
Anyway the card was with a Mo image have loved this one for ages, and suiting Hudson down to the ground. Am 3D-ing the image, hence the number of images printed off and bits coloured with the Prisma coloured pencils.

Kaisercraft banner Die, Number 3 is from CB alphabet die Olivia, used some SB labels for the main image. I know I had the sketch from somewhere, but not sure where, now. Possibly one of Debbie's excellent ones from the Scrapjourney.
Well, we've cracked the half kilo with our lemons - last year it was 497g but this year we went one better and it is 525g. If you want to see how small our lemon tree is look on this post here. It is an Eureka lemon for those who live in Oz.
On a daily walk this week as it was too windy for the beach, walked in our botanic gardens ... I love these native plant called Flannel Flowers so beautiful, I would love to grow them.

Also walked around the orchid house at the gardens, isn't this spider orchid simply amazing? Its a native too.
Some more photos from our icecream drive.. the sea was very very flat but oh weren't these a clouds magnificent testament to the beauty of God's creation?? I love clouds.

Please dont forget to hope over to Julia's super blog to join in the worldwide exploration of WOYWW(what is on your workdesk Wednesday)..and will join the snippets playground this week as used lots of snippets in this card for Hudson!
Thanks for stopping everyone for a peek and chat and may God bless your day wherever you may be.

And after my first season of growing everything I can appreciate the satisfaction you feel about producing such a mamoth lemon even more. But my favorite part of the entire post are those photos of your area and that Beach! Living in the mountains like I do, those beach photos touched a place in my soul! Oh, the nativities are really lovely for your cards. And, the card for your grandson is just too cute. I'm sure he'll expand his color preferences as he grows!
That's a big lemon! We moved into a house last year with a couple of lemon trees. It looks as though we've got a bumper crop. Some of the smaller ones have ripened, but not the larger ones yet. I'm trying to be patient! What are you going to do with that bigun? ;) Enjoy it!

Hello my sweet friend, sorry I've been MIA for so long! My life is a little crazy right now and I'm having issues at getting myself organized (if that is the right word). I just can't seem to get it together. lol Plus I'm not looking forward to winter at all. But it will come so I better get ready. I love, love, love this card Sharon! What a beautiful job you did creating this card. The little boy is adorable and I just love how you colored him. Hudson has good taste in colors, as I love green too, but then again I love all colors. lol Love the green papers you used on this card. Wow, love that you have a dwarf lemon tree and love it even more that you have such big lemons!!! I so love lemons, love the juice in my water and love to eat them. I know I'm strange. lol And as much as I love eating lemons I can't eat them like I used to because my mouth breaks out on the inside. Beautiful flowers as well, nice to walk around gardens!! The beach is just beautiful, love those clouds, well love the whole scene! What season are you in now Sharon, it looks like it is so nice and warm but I know the sun can be deceiving. We are in fall with winter knocking on the door. Hugs, Brenda

Thanks for Percy Veering with my link. I was having computer issues yesterday and I think I did something daft at my end. Twice.
I can't imagine being able to grow lemons. Well done. I have lemon tree I grew from a pip quite a few years ago. It's a lovely tree but has yet to produce a flower let alone a lemon. I have to keep indoors of course, here in the UK.
Interesting to see your desk and your cute card.

Wow Shaz I love that layering, looks totally brilliant.such a wonderful card. So when you get a lemon that big does it only take one for a batch of lemon butter!!!
