Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Scrappy Mo's Christmas (Rudolph Day) Challenge - Paper Piecing

Well, the weeks are flying by let alone the months! Here it is time for another challenge over at Scrappy Mo's, HERE!
I have been honoured to be a Guest DT member for this month! so this time I did a CASE of Card by Di of Snippets Playground. It was some paper piecing with a Woodware stamp, which I won in the playground, years back now .. see Miss' card over here!
At the time, Miss also kindly sent me a sheet each of the gorgeous LOTV paper that she had used on her card.. how generous is that? So thought I'd better do some of these this year.
Paper Piecing is tedious .. you need to be in the mood. I was thankfully! so stamped with Black Onyx Versafine and embossed two lots of four card backs, then four lots of blue paper and four lots of kraft shade paper. As only had one sheet of each, scanned some for the backing sheets and printed them out. Like the kraft best, as they are 5 x 7' cards, the blue are A2 and a tad small for the stamp I think. The embossed images look heaps better in real life .. not as good in photo. Used some pearls on snowflakes.

That's it for today!
Thanks so much for popping over for peek and chat.. you are really appreciated!

May God richly bless your day wherever you may be!

Fabulous CASE Shaz! Both sets of cards look great - I fully agree about needing to be in the mood for paper piecing like this though 😊

I can only imagine the time and effort you put into each of these beautiful cards. I'm not exactly sure what paper piecing it but it even sounds tedious! :-). The recipients of each one of these will be doubly blessed my dear friend.
Blessings,
Betsy

These cards are adorable and love how you incorporated some embossing too. We are so blessed you joined us at Word Art Wednesday. A new Challenge just started today and will be glad to have you linked with us again. Leaving you an encouragement from God's Word found in Isaiah 12:2 which tells us, "Behold, God is my salvation,I will trust and not be afraid; For the Lord God is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation." Have a great week.

That's some of the neatest paper piecing I've seen yet! It must have taken your hours to put these cards together, but they look amazing with those pretty colors and embossed backgrounds! I can't even chose a favorite between them!

Shaz, these are gorgeous and were so worth the work! Yes, paper piecing is tedious but at the right time very relaxing. What a beautiful stamp for it, and I love the border! Stunning cards, sweet friend, that remind us of the day Christ came to save us from our sin and death!! Praise God! Hugs, sweet friend!

Quite a feather in your cap to be a GD at Rudy Day! Congratulations, and Mo made some excellent choices for her GD's this time. Love each of the colorways, although the golden beige looks much larger, I quite love the blue as well. Amazing work with the paper piecing, and good for you at using a wonderful Snippet Playground Prize. Our Miss is a sweet treasure, isn't she? Good job on both sets of cards - what a stash you must be assembling. I like the subtle texture of the backgrounds behind the images too. Well done, Shaz! TFS
