Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Twelve Tags of Christmas with Loll!

Going to be brief hopefully! Am a fan  of Loll's blog and each year she's had this tag challenge. I could prob count on one hand the number of tags I've made! However found yesterday an unfinished Distress Inked manilla tag smooshed with ink, when first trying DI.
So!!! Here tis! My entry for Loll's Twelve Tags of Christmas!
It surprised me how an item in my reject pile can produce something I really like!  Distress Ink red/ orange with dark drips of unknown colours, dry embossed with Sizzix Dot Matrix EF, wet embossed in spots adding Gold EP. Die cut tree and star die in Gold, backed tag with gold card added gold ribbon. Now made into a card but too dark to photograph, as only do in daylight.
Very grateful to receive an honourable mention in the tag challenge! Wow! Thanks Loll. 😁
A washi tape card with scoring on either side of mounted washi strip. The CB disc thanks die was cut 3 times and off set for shadow. Top layer was with washi on cardstock and DST on back.
Snippets card, see last post for another two. This is emboss ink resist with disc. Hero Arts Floral vine? stamp. DI used on background colours on layering base sheets also.
Aussie Shot: Our local beach was very crowded 😁 on a windswept day.. love the delicate sand sculpture carved by wind.. pity I put my footprint just there!! This is 7 mins walk from where we live.
Okay that's it, I'm sorry, I'm way behind on commenting. I hope to catch up soon.. a common refrain these days! Then today is halfway through November!!
God bless you and all you love, in all  that you do.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz.x
Thanks especially if you say hi!
How amazing a part of God's creation is the sea in all it's moods... may we see beyond and look up.. to HIM!

Another set of beautiful makes! Your "thanks" card looks so elegant and the way you used the washi tape as part of the die cut design looks fabulous 😁. Thanks so much for joining in the fun at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge again! J 😊 x

Oh my dear friend! Your Christmas tag and cards are wonderful. The imagination that you have to be able to make such beautiful cards is beyond me. When I knit or crochet I follow patterns that someone else has made. But you think these beautiful creations up all by yourself. Thank you for the beautiful photo too. The sand is just lovely. It would be our dream to live so close to such a beautiful beach. The Bible verse is very appropriate. Blessings always, Betsy

Wish I was on that gorgeous beach with bright blue sky. I love the tag with that stunning gold tree. I love the simplicity of the second card, it makes the image really stand out. Blue and lavender are one of my favorite combos of color and this is lovely.
