Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Male Darkroom Door + Masked Floral Woodware NBUS WOYWW

Wowee - today is 17th, over half way through June, almost shortest day of year on 21st June!
Am here for WOYWW or What is On Your Workdesk Wednesday over at our lovely Queen of Desks, Julia - to my desk this morn!
Well, 'tis tad tidy as left last night, usual tool culprits in pile on right, blue tissue was to slurp up 😊 the extra turquoise brushos decided to add to stamped image, stamps used waiting to be cleaned, TH pick tool, green tool use to lift stuck dies off plate, cant recall brand, and good for spreading texture paste etc. This is a card already finshed and mailed in today's mail. Don't you love those colours? I do.
Centre image is Darkroom Door Photo Collage "Escape", to its left is a yoghurt packet covered in versamark and mixed pearls. Yay, dat dere packet is snippets.. off to Playground! 😁
Two are Ranger Perfect Pearls, turquoise is Lindy Stamp Gang Tiffany's Blue (amazing colour!) + Pearl-Ex Aztec Gold. Spritzed with water + dry embossed sheet in TH EF Gridlock. Firmly set pearls colour with hairspray.
Stamp is stamped on brushos on photo paper (Edited Technique shown here).
Finished card.
On left two banner die cuts were made for another card in Feb., lost, made another - then found again for this card! Stamped white EP greeting from lawn Fawn Birthday stamp set.
The black rectangle die is a Scrapdragon set (Aust brand). Simple layout with three brads to finish at right.
Next desk was at weekend, had sleepless night so started it at 2am and back up at 4am to finish. This is a NBUS card, cos those two inks at rear left under Inkylicious ink dusters. did lots of layering, top colours are from Hero Arts Ombre pad (bought at Hobby Lobby with you, Marilyn, in Sept. 2018!) other on sale at closing down store here, 2019 Kaleidocolor Caribbean sea - gorgeousness!).
Masked as you can see above, just about to overlay a Kaisercraft dots mask and do white chalk dots with Ranger sponge tool at the ready.
Finished card, an encoragement one.
Need some more actually.
To Aussie photos - have been some big seas last week, can hear them at night, rather lovely. Some super keen surfers, you can see how close some of them are to the rocks!
'Tis drawing to end of roses flowering time, pruning in July. This is Sweet Serenity, a thornless rose with magnificent glossy foliage and fragrant, delicate blooms.
May God bless and keep you and those you love safe in His care, thanks especially if you have time to say hi!
Prayer hugs, 🙏🤗

Thought for today:
What a treasure this verse is!
Riches that money can never buy!
God's way is PERFECT. Perfect for you, me, us at this time!
My days are fuller of late, due to God's ways. And His ways are ALWAYS and in ALL WAYS perfect for me!
I am His child, my Heavenly Father knows best.
Ease is never promised but grace for the way, strength for the day is!
He is our Buckler - a Shield that covers and protects us in the midst of troubled seas!

PLEASE,  pop over to my Christian blog,  just shared here on "Perpetual Prayer- What Purpose?"

Re New Blogger versus  Old blogger:
Like others I've read, I have totally reverted to old blogger.
I do hope and pray earnestly it survives all this turmoil.

I don't recall all this grief in 2012 change!

My feedback was they'd reverted to standards of previous decade, computer only. I'm a mobile device blogger. I blog just fine on current site.

Impossible on new one. You can't add you tube either, freezes in iPad etc etc. Unless using it on computer.

Morning Shaz. Great cards - well done. Lovely Aussie shots of the sea - I love waves!! Yes, indeed, June 21st on Sunday. I think I have to say that my elder daughter is probably glad at this moment of time that she doesn't live in the Southern Hemisphere... It's her 23rd wedding anniversary - and her comment when she asked us for that date was... "more day for your money"!! Not down under. It's our longest day - I'm hoping that by Sunday we will be allowed to go a little further here in Wales - new statement being made Friday - then I will maybe go see the sunrise and the sunset...
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

Thanks for your research with the Blogger and the advice about photos, really appreciate your sharing. Had to use the App to post today, so it’s not going well for iPad again, it makes me so cross!! BEeeeeeeutiful colours at work on your desk. Am so sorry you dont sleep well, but it sure makes you creative. I dont mean to trivialise it either. I’m tearful and vile without sleep on a one off basis, so constant difficulty must be so hard. That rose is a beauty, and thornless. Oh my. As I’m typing without using my left index finger because of thorn throbbing, I wish very much for my next roses to be thornless. What an amazing bit of botany! Would save me having to wear plasters smeared with Mag Sulph to draw out the offenders wouldn’t it! I do love that DarkroomDoor image, I’m mostly frightened to death of them..but of course your background skill just shows them off beautifully. Doesn’t the beach look stunning in that light. I’m not sure I realised that you lived quite so close as you do - being able to hear the big waves must be a lovely reminder of natural majesty.

I adore those seedhead cards - oh my, the colours are my fave and I adore the black silhouettes of the flowers. I could live with that as. Pic on my wall, gorgeous!! I like the Explore card too, a great card for a man, my hubby would love it. Sorry about your broken nights, I suffer on and off with that too at the moment, I always end up reading my kindle.

Ooh Shaz your cards are beautiful - I love the vivid blues and greens alongside the map, and the flowers on the dotty background are stunning. I had to laugh at your double visit - I've done that on several occasions, so I'm glad it's not just me!
Hope you have a good week

Two fabulous cards Shaz. I love the rich colours on the first one and the way you recycle food packets....Beautiful roses. I hate roses because of the thorns but I did not know there were ones without thorns..Loz

Good Morning Shaz. It's Wednesday again already. Love the Aussie pictures. It seems strange to me that as I'm still waiting for my roses to bloom this year, yours are almost done. Thank you for the verse today. God is indeed my shield and I'm glad that we can know that His ways are always good.
Blessings and love,
Betsy

I LOVE your cards! Such nice blending!!
Since I live in the desert with cacti, high heat, dry winds.. seeing your ocean scenes are so beautiful! I've been to the Pacific Ocean at various places in California. But very little.
Love your quote.

Oh my goodness Shaz, what stunning cards - loving them both - your artistic skills are a great God given gift.
loving the surf photos, and that rose is exquisite - I only have one decent rose flower at the moment, Dublin Bay, and that because the bush is in a very sheltered spot - the rest have given up, and like you I will be pruning next month.
Stay safe

Your cards are stunning Shaz - very clever. Such a pretty little rose there - we went for a socially distanced walk at our nearest National Trust property - Attingham Park. The walled garden was full of the most wonderfully scented tea roses - sheer delight after so long in lockdown! xx Jo #16

You were right but sorry I am so late, had a bad day yesterday and today is not much better as yet. But did have two and a bit days of no pain before. Prayers answered.
Love the blue/green together, such a gorgeous colour and one of my favourites. In fact that is a beautiful card. I rarely remember to use banners but seeing yours I need to take the idea on board ore often. Lovely cards as always.
Brilliant water photos and the roses are so pretty - thanks for sharing.

Looks like some yumminess on your desk Sharon! How clever of you to use a yogurt pack to get that texture, which I am loving. I yogurt packs don't look like that! lol The card turned out stunning. I am loving those colors in the Kaleidocolor Caribbean Sea. Your card is a beautiful CAS encouragement card! Love the silhouettes of the flowers. The sea Aussie photos are gorgeous as always! I can't imagine hearing the surf at nighttime. That must be so glorious! Although, I would never be a surfer...don't want to face sharks or those rocks. lol That must be so glorious! Then there are those roses, oh my they are stunners for sure! Love the ending scripture too. Hugs, Brenda

Lovely cards and fabulous colours. Those roses are beautiful as are the sea photographs. I love roses, not so keen on the thorns though so a thornless rose is ideal. Did you work out why so many people mentioned that verse to you last week? Happy belated WOYWW, God Bless, x Angela #38

Hello again, Shaz! Most delightful cards and desk. Thought surely the black rectangle was edged by deco scissors til I read it was a die. I love to use my white or lighter ink pads that way with a stencil. Just discovered that Palette Hybrid lighter colors will cover darker colors at least just enough to see the effect. Wonderful scripture you left us with. Reminded me its often Man who distorts God's Word by making it stricter. God's much open-minded! winkwink Much love and stay well wishes, XOX
