Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Shaz ill - Blog in Recess. "..as for God His way is PERFECT ". Ps 18

Linking up also to Butterfly Challenge, + WOYWW.
As of Fri 26th June life took another health turn.
I don't know the way, but God does.
I do know I must rest,  though, so all prayers appreciated,  especially that my other chronic conditions will behave. 😊  Here is new health condition (heart attack, with heart failure, hopefully recoverable) - See link.
Just sharing some cards for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge -  entering Mrs A, but not for marvellous prizes, thank you!
Used loads of snippets... also joining there for fun only, Miss thanks.
Number of cards for special friend's family.. last Fri 26th.
May God bless you all, and may you seek the One Lord God alone Who carries us through every dark valley..
Who not only saves us by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ from our sin and our sin's consequences,  but oh, He is with us in the hardest and longest days.
He holds my hand.

Commenting prob not at all, but praying for you all yes, which is far better.
Loving Prayer Hugs,
Shaz in Oz.x
He promised to NEVER to leave me, to NEVER to leave me alone ... beautiful indeed!

Oh Shaz, I just want to give you a big cuddle and made it all better, but that is not possible, so I will pray, especially that there will be no complications with your existing conditions. Take care and rest and get better
Stay safe

Precious Shaz! I have prayed and will continue to pray for you as you need to REST and take a break! You have so faithfully prayed for me this past year, and it has meant the world to me! God has been gracious to restore my health and that of my dear hubby's. Now we are trusting God will allow future blood work and CAT scans to come back with good reports. But now you must rest and allow your body to heal. I read the link about your heart, and it does take time. May God grant you healing in His time and minister to your spiritual heart in a special and close way that only our Abba Father can do. I love you dearly and know that God allows trials to draw us closer to Himself. May you enjoy the time with Him and His Word and feel better soon. This world is not our home, and one day all pain, suffering, and heartache will be gone...and we shall see Him face to face. Oh, what a day that will be! Much love and tenderest of squishy hugs! Always, Cheryl xoxo

P. S. Thank you for your precious comment on my blog and for the lovely thoughts about my card. xoxo

Morning Shaz. Have come over from Julia's 'cos I found your comment. Trusting Father will bring you through this knowing His constant presence with joy and peace. For some reason your comments on my posts always go to "pending", and have only just found the last comment you made - sorry. You ask about a photo - when I put them on my posts I always shrink them - so I will endeavour to get around to sending you the image full size.
Take care of yourself - rest up good and proper. God bless.

oh my little friend, my soul sister, I cannot take this in. Oh I am so sorry this has happened and can only guess at what brought it all on and hope and promise prayer for a quick recovery. Never heard of it before, did not know it existed, I am so upset to hear.
The Lord will look over you and guide you until your little body can find time to recover itself.
God Bless you my dear friend

Oh my goodness Sharon, thank you for the link on this illness! I will be praying even harder for you for sure. Good news is that it is treatable and heals. I always knew stress was bad, but now I can see why they call it the broken heat syndrome and how much stress and such is really bad for you. Your cards are just stunning and so calming. Thanks for sharing them, now rest! I'm in a flare and can hardly function since yesterday. I hate it, but have learned to go with it and rest. You need to do the same and get some rest. My prayers are with you. Love and hugs, Brenda

Dearest Shaz, please know that I am praying for your complete healing!! Chronic illness and their complications suck! But God provides the open door along with medicine - slow, deep healing breaths of calm and positivity - release your stress and rest in His love. As a survivor of auto immune disorder, I can witness that it helps, along with learning to temporarily let go of the habits that have brought you joy but perhaps also stress for all stress needs to take a vacay for now. Everything can wait til you can handle it again. Not easy but I know you can do it because you have such a strong faith. Examine what stresses you and let it go for now. Our bodies are constantly talking to us - I know after my Dad died, I held it in and bam, my rheumatoid blood factor was 620 and I was having gall bladder attacks. I'm struggling even now with this underlying COVID thing and the unrest over here. But I just have to "forget" about it and do my therapy. Worrying does NOTHING good. Please get better, dear Shaz. Sending love and hugs from the USA XOXOX

Oh Shaz - what a shock to follow your link. Dear girl, you must take it easy, give your heart time to rest and recover. I wonder if the loss of your darling Dad finally caught up with you? It's good to see you in the Playground and to know that you've been making these beautiful cards - a lovely selection. Thank you so much for the 'no'line colouring' link - I'll try to find time to follow up and read properly. Take care dear girl.

Love and hugs

Hi Shaz, I was getting worried as you're still very quiet. I am hoping this means that you are getting plenty of rest and soon will be back to your usual self. It's a strange condition but hopefully one that you can get over in time. I am sending you very gentle hugs and thinking about you every day until I know you are safe and well again. Angela xXx

I'm so sorry to hear you have taken ill, my dear friend. I am praying that you are recovering and in the good care of knowledgeable doctors and medicine. Also that you be a patient patient, which is sometimes the hardest thing of all. Rest easy now; it's out of your hands and into His. p.s. Loved all your beautiful cards. Thank you for sharing and inspiring!! Hugs and love, Darnell
