Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Memory Box Prim Poppy Birthday + Christmas Cards by Two.

Hullo there everyone! well these are some cards made a while back and not blogged, have rather of few of them in drafts waiting to be blogged.
This first card was seen on Pinterest as an idea and this was made for my niece's 30th, but somehow forgot to photograph it with the 30th on it.
This is how I test if I need a die now .. I look for samples and see how well I like them made up. I really like dies cause you can use up your snippets with them.
Prim poppy with Hexagon frame, if made it again would do things , make it on smoother paper as dont like the unevenness of the sponging, secondly would perhaps make one more hexagon to raise it up and tad more. However do love this die.

These two cards were made for Rudolph day over @ Scrappy Mo's - here (25th to end of month each month, except December!). It was a while ago and thought you needed two, but found out the rules are changed this year and only need one .. not to worry.. :D) The stamp is a very old snowflake one I turned into a star one, with sponging in oval mask, the Memory box star die was cut with snippets, and the digi verse by Karen from WAW was cut with SB Fancy Ovals.
Also want to welcome a new Wonderful Encourager - Robin of Paw Trails .. over here!! thanks so VERY much for joining! Robin, if could work out how to join yours, I would return the great kindness.
Thanks so much for popping over for peek and chat .. will return your visit as soon as I can, as do love to see your work too. :D
May God bless your day and those you love, wherever you may be.

Love your duet of Christmas cards. Very pretty design. The star is so fab...perfect with that sentiment.

I nearly made a card with that same star...well at least a very similar one!

Thank you for taking part in the April Rudolph Days Challenge. Good luck in the prize draw!

Really gorgeous cards Shaz! Love the two Christmas ones - although I do think the poppy one is absolutely fabulous. I love how one of the buds is hanging over the lovely hexagon frame!

Am like you - I scout round to see ways to use dies before launching into buying them now :)

Hugs

Love #1 with the framing of the lovely poppy, and great design detail to tear the edge as you've done; also like the repetition of the die flowers too. Of course #2 is so lovely with the sponged oval and that wonderful star, and you also added in one of my fav S/B ovals. Great cards, Miss Shaz! TFS & Hugs too.

Hi Shaz, feeling really bad that I have not been here in a while. Thanks for you lovely comment! Your cards are wonderful! The poppy card is a real eye-candy. Lovely how the soft background mirrors the brightly colored poppy in the foreground! And then your Christmas cards are beautiful - such a wonderful sentiment!

I love both your Christmas cards, elegant, simple in concept but beautifully made with those lovely touches. Your poppy card is stunning! I really love the layout and frame idea and those dies have just been added to my every growing wish list! Bravo!
