Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

WOYWW + Using up Snippets!

 Hullo there everyone!
Am sorry have been rather non blogger of late, partly because of situation here at home and in part because of the health of a very dear family member, don’t see improvement in near future.
as tis Wednesday, time to link over to desks of the world for WOYWW What is On Your Workdesk Wednesday.
Some snippets so over to the Snippets playground (YAY!)

plus Word Art Wednesday where Anything Goes!

However first image shows and postie delivery about two weeks ago now or maybe three? YUMMO!

Sadly haven’t had time to play with them yet, other than a quickly stamped gift card the other day. This is from a $25 voucher won over at Darnell's NBUS no. 3 candy in January, 2015.
Well, candy in part because I added it :D and so did the very kind Shery @ Stamplorations (two free masks, hearts and clouds), plus lovely clear stamp sets from http://stamplorations.auctivacommerce.com/

A BIG THANK YOU to both  of these kind crafters!

NOTE:
this size stamp set will be perfect for the upcoming ATC swap esp. top left and middle left.. I canna wait!!

My desk on Monday night, had this lovely snippet of wrapping paper wanting to be used plus some other of chocolate blown and teal...
A Bible verse wooden stamp from early1990's which was stamped on snippet of card. Note first one had centre letters missing, second had side missing, + bit of centre too.
Still embossed them both and thought, mm ..
TIP ~ out came my fine black waterproof texta!
Result: two usable stamped images.. corrections not embossed, that wont be noticeable.
CARD 1: Joy Craft Vintage Flourish butterfly, with SB Fancy ovals, and small oval dies. Pearls etc. from stash. Used Promarkers to colour both stamped images, used Wink of Stella pen on both of them but does not photograph.
This verse promises us the blessing of God's presence with us in all our endeavours, if we but seek Him.

CARD 2: Hand cut this die, used also Fancy SB ovals, MB Mirri butterfly, and Lala land filigree corners. Ribbon + pearls from stash, one card is for friend with cancer, other is a birthday card.

Today's Aussie shot:
It is Autumn time Downunder, my favourite time of year!!! We have just had superb days, this is a gumtree sunset out at my sister's on Sunday, faint soft pink evening lights. God's creation is enthralling, and He feels especially close at this time of day.

Before I forget - I want to take the time to welcome two new Wonderful Encouragers - do take a peek at their blogs and be blessed too.

Terry of Terry's Agape Creations .. wonderful colouring here if you want some tips.. and great inspiring blog for a dear blogger, Debbie over at http://shegracesherhome.blogspot.com.au/

I will do my best to get back to everyone, but time is difficult... However I want to say you are appreciated… very much!
You bless my heart. I also have couple of questions to answer certain folk from last time I linked over to WOYWW, I think?
Every blessing of the dear LORD upon you and your day,
Shaz in Oz.x

I enjoyed your visit this morning and thank you for the kind comment.
Our family had a most blessed Resurrection Sunday. It is always a joy when I am able to serve my loved ones with a meal and hospitality.
I trust your day was beautiful?

I never thought to use wrapping paper! It made a beautiful card. I love the butterfly and mesh you used on the first card. You did a fantastic job fixing the verse and making it usable. Prayers are being sent to you and your family.

Hi Shaz and happy Easter, and hope things are improving at home. Never fear I quite often have to resort to the black fine marker to fill in uneven stamping - I used to chuck them out, what a waste. Just love what you've done with the wrapping paper - that is one lovely card. Cheers happy crafting RobynO#25

Both of your cards are beautiful. The verse is such a comforting verse. He goes before us, He is with us and He will never leave us. Such wonderful words and presented in such a wonderful way! Hugs and prayers.

Lovely stamps, Shaz, and a beautiful card. So sorry to hear about your dear family member's health problems - prayers going up! Thank you so much for your lovely comment - I am gradually managing to reply to all the marvellous messages from all my friends around the world, and am so grateful for prayers going up for me - I feel carried along by a tide of answered prayer! I am so happy to be home at last, and my recovery is going well. I shall soon be updating both my blogs with news.
