Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Simple Layering of Die cut Word Numbers + Annie's Smiles

WOYWW post HERE!! Or just scroll to post below. Thank you!😊

Hi there just blowing in with a very quick post.. had folks asking re layering of word die cuts si showing how its done with numbers!
Card made for a 40th so adding numbers below.
1. Added double sided tape to each of die cardstock. Remove to adhere.
2. Cut 3 for this a white a gold and brusho background.
3. Leave white in base it's cut from and place next two layers in place. This is particularly handy for holding shape of words.
4. Layered white gold on top of one another. Then placed brusho die cut a little to right to offset it and give a gold shadow to die cut.
These have more than three layers. "0" has 5 and top of 4 hasteeny bit of double sided mounting tape. The base was raised so had to keep even level. This card below is winging it's way to Norway , hope 20 days is long enough.. post takes forever tgese days.
This cards has splatter and brushos on it all water colours done on this post HERE

Now to Aussie shots. Taken on my walk yesterday.. late. Plant in second image is a Gymea lily about to come into bloom. They're very architectural.
Well, thanks to all who pop over and especially those who say hi.. your comments are truly a blessing. May the Lord bless and strengthen you in all your doings this day.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz.x
Doesn't this verse cheer you! Not just God's glory in His creation (I love poppies) but most of all in His Word. He promises to keepand uplift us. Yes it says He keeps the "good man " but we have none of our own. Our Goodness or righteousness comes through faith in His dear Son the Lord Jesus Christ.
With and through faith in Him we are heading for a hope that fades not away.. like the earth does. A heavenly home .. a new body.. yes, this one surely needs replacement! Cheer up! Keep looking up.

Yes, those Scripture verse definitely do cheer me! I really needed that today. Thanks so much for sharing, it's always more of a blessing to me than you can know. Such a simple thing to share a verse or two along with your post, but I'm thankful the Lord can use His children no matter where we're at to be an encouragement to others that are His. Very nice card you made also. :)
