Just quickly sharing for Christmas card challenge - over at Scrappy Mo's! It's also Wednesday so time for WOYWW over at Julia's Stamping Ground - pop over to see stunning desks of the world.
Off to my desks, firstly this morning’s.
At top are some cards just out of view, in front right is the wonderful ATC from Shaz Silverwolf (thanks so VERY much, Shaz). I sent Shaz an ATC via Jo on 16/5, sent ATCs to three addresses in England, but have not heard yet that one has made it all the way there from Oz. ☹️

There are Distress inks. A mask was made with a SB Labels Die cut out of a scrap cardstock, masking done with repositionable tape on back, made three and will make more. Ink mat with Inkylicious brushes & DI inks + full size and minis - minis stored in video case, bought from op shop .20c a video case.
Great storage for ink pads + unmounted stamps.
Great storage for ink pads + unmounted stamps.
Used on top DI blues x4, Dusty Concord, touch of Weathered Wood. Bottom has the Antique Linen, with touch of Frayed Burlap and Fossilised Amber DI. Used hand cut hill mask cut out of scrap paper. The stamp is Nellie Snellen Nativity Silhouette clear stamp, inked up with Versafine Majestic Blue ink, and clear EP. Greeting is from PB Wonder set, on magazine years ago now.
It’s so hard to find long narrow greetings, which you need at bottom of card, that’s why I often use digis. Looked everywhere years for long narrow Christmas Bible verses in clear stamps, but none of Christmas bible verse.
Completed cards, it’s a one layer card, so very CAS.
This image is of the flight into Egypt by Joseph, Mary and Jesus.
Jesus wasn't actually a baby (see here for full story), but toddler under two years old. However it’s rarely shown any other way but as quite a young baby.
Will do a few more, have 32 cards done now so almost half way... might try some other verses from ODB on it..
We’ve had some lovely lovely rain, I am ok, yes, shin is still slow. It’s rose time and will be pruned in July. I don’t do them as there are three dozen! And have two more newies to replace lost ones.
Well, here’s the Aussie shots.. our loaded lemon tree, isn’t it cute?
It’s kept pruned to five foot, and as result produces very large lemons, last year one over 500grams.
Also cream poinsettia growing in back corner, have no frosts here.😊
And sea view to close, looking north.
That’s it for today. Thanks so very much for popping over for a peek and chat, especially if you have time to say hi!
May God bless your day wherever you maybe.
Hugs Shaz in Oz. X

Love this. As weak I am, WITH God there is hope! For WITH GOD, ALL things are possible! ❤❤❤

Loving those cards Shaz - so elegant, even if they are CAS.
You are so blessed not to have frosts to damage things... we had a -3 oC this morning, and a colder one on the way tonight! Loving your lemons! I am down to about 20 roses now, as some have died and I have not replaced them. I will be pruning them in late July.
Blessings
Maxine
Your Christmas cards are wonderful! I love how you did the background and you have made me want to do more of my own Christmas cards. I really do need to get going on that! I love your lemon tree and can't imagine how wonderful to harvest my own lemons! And as always I love your view of the sea! Amazing to be able to look at that!

So lovely to see how you put your cards together....love the results.
That lemon tree is amazing.

Sometimes the simple ideas are the best and that stencil outline works perfectly! I'm very envious of your lemon tree, look at that beautiful fruit. Luscious!

Hi Shaz, I'm sure they'll turn up soon! Love the CAS Christmas cards, they look beautiful. Amazing lemon tree, and how strange to us over here to see Poinsettias growing outdoors! Have a lovely week, hugs, Shaz #4 X
Fantastic,
hugs Tamara
Fabulous cards Shaz, love how you realized the shaped background, thanks for the inspiration! Great tip about your storing mini distress inks, too! :)
Christmas in June! I love it! I'm sorry your shin is still so slow in healing. I can't imagine being able to have lemons and poinsettias growing in my yard. No frost! I don't believe I will ever live anywhere that has no frost. This side of Heaven anyway!
I'll continue to keep praing for you my friend. That healing will take place very quickly.
Blessings,
Betsy
Great backgrounds for those cards Shaz. Love a nice aperture one layer background like that. Those are large lemons so the pruning is certainly a good tip. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
Those cards are gorgeous! Love the colours in the background. What a fantastic crop of lemons. Happy WOYWW. Have a lovely week. With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#15)
Thanks for the birthday wishes! the cards are fabulous. Glad your shin is a little better... can't believe the size of your lemons! Happy WOYWW Helen #2
Those backgrounds are great for your Christmas cards Shaz, you are so good to be getting ahead of yourself. I will be running around last minute again this year i'm sure of it. Isn't your lemon tree magnificent you can tell it's very well loved. How wonderful to have such lovely things growing in your garden your cream poinsettia is glorious. Wishing you kind weather days and good health to aid your recovery Shaz.
Take good care of your self & God Bless.

Hello Shaz. I love the cards. I should start but I doubt I will - yet.
How wonderful to have lemons growing like that and Poinsettias!
Hope you are ok? Anne X 14
Hi Shaz, the lemons look fabulous. I love your cards but it scares me seeing Christmas cards as I start to think I should get started with them and then suddenly it's December and I haven't made any! I promise to get started earlier this year. Wishing you a very happy woyww with hugs, Angela x11x
Super design and CAS creation, great image and colours. Thank you for joining our 'Soft Pastels' challenge over at Allsorts.

Love the 'C' cards so hard to buy religious C cards these days. Mine are always is great demand. Your tree is like mine I keep it about the same high and have lemons all year round, so many go to waste though. Have a good week. Ani #18
Your Christmas cards are fabulous, Shaz. The beauty of the CAS design and the religious factor make them most impressive.
ALSO impressive are those lemons. These are far more beautiful than any we get here in the states. Happy WOYWW from #1.
a very striking christmas card and a lovely CAS design! thank you so much for playing along with the rudolph days challenge!

I like CAS cards. They are so effective and yours are lovely. I always enjoy seeing the photos you show us of your garden an the lovely views. xxx Maggie (Silvercrafter) #9
Beautiful Christmas cards Shaz, the stamping looks really good within the shades aperture and it's so nice to see images that reflect the true meaning of Christmas, something so many seem to forget. Thanks so much for sharing and joining in with our 'Soft Pastels' theme at Allsorts challenge this week.

Hi Shaz, a superb cas Christmas card to make in bulk. Love the stencilled background. I ordered something from UK took four weeks for standard letter to arrive. Our lemon tree is laden with a large number of lemons, may end up juicing and freezing some, that's what we've done with our apples. Have a wonderful weekend... Megan
What a lovely image for Christmas and your background is so pretty.
Thanks for sharing with us at Allsorts challenge.

I love your gorgeous little scenes that you've created.

Your cards are always so beautifully done and this Christmas image is stunning with that background.
Your loaded lemon tree is awesome! I hear fresh lemonade calling. :-)
What a magnificent poinsettia plant and thank you for that beach scene, so beautiful.
God bless you~
I love these cards. Your background is just perfect for the stamps.
it is strange, we know so very few details about the birth of Jesus, but the 'traditional' images do convey the message of what we are celebrating. I love CAS cards but I am not very good at making them. I always want to fill those big white spaces, yet I like the look when other folk make them. perhaps i'll use your idea as inspiration and have another go. Kate x
Gorgeous card and masking technique Shaz. Your lemon tree is fabulous..Loz
I'm not ready to start making Christmas cards yet, but I do love the background you created for these sweet Holy Family Christmas cards. Your garden is looking great too. Happy WOYWW!
May God continue to give you strength for each new day.
Love your Christmas cards, great one layer design and I love the shading you have done for the background.
That lemon tree is so pretty, how wonderful to be able to go out and pick any time you want one
Wonderful cards.
Thank you for joining us at the Sweet Stampers and i hope to see you again.

OMG - giant lemons and poinsettias growing in your backyard! Beats all the weeds I have in mine! We can never grow things like that in our harsh Canadian climate :-(
Your cards are lovely, I like how you used the frame mask. Sorry I'm so late this week! Thank you for your earlier visit, Lindart #26
Hi Shaz! Your inky background Flight Into Egypt card is beautiful!
I love the way you did the inky background and I am going to give this technique sa try this evening. I think I will make a few like you did as it will be fun to use them for different types of scenes, etc.
Hope you are doing well and pray that your leg heals soon. I had my knee open slightly so do understand how scary it is and how it delays being able to shower properly etc. I finally graduated to being able to shower and how I enjoy that...so much better than sponge baths!!!
Thanks for taking part in the June Rudolph Days Challenge.
Absolutely gorgeous cards, Shaz! I love the softness of the colors and the beautiful silhouette! Quite possibly the most lovely holiday card I've seen in a long long time! Well done! xx
What a wonderful collection of cards, the backgrounds are fantastic. Thank you for joiing us at sweet stampers, hugs Anke
