Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Time for Friday Smiles over at Annie's!

{WOYWW post below ~ thanks! :D}
Hullo everyone - tis Friday so time for Friday Smiles today over at Annie's, wasn't going to link over this week - so busy, but this mail arrived. While was first puzzled .. then little cross.. then I laughed ... so thought would share it with you!! :D
YESSS!.. I was expecting a Spellbinder die, as label clearly says .. (more of them you might say??)
And what was sent?? a calming collar ... okay so I needed calming, that was evident!! and indeed to be stopped from talking and chewing so much :D too.. Obviously they made a mistake and have already sent another, which will take two weeks to get here or so.. .. if had a dog it might be handy. Now to find a victim for it :D no, not me! My neighbour has four dogs, mm....
Okay it is summer over here and one is very aware of the need to watch this ..summer foods do make it easier :D
Some days feel a little more like this than ought to :D beached seal or whale :D
Thanks for popping over everyone for peek and chat..
Happy Smiles day!!
May God bless your day wherever you may be.

Well, it took three times reading to understand that someone sent you the wrong product. And you don't own a dog. It finally hit me. How blonde I an tonight (grin).

Had a good laugh at the weight scale. I actually did the same thing one time, but not at the doctor's office. That was SO funny.

Hope your Friday is great and the weekend even better.

What..the company that sells Spellbinder dies also sells dog collars? How bizarre! I hope rectifying it isn't too much of a problem! The scales pic is all too familiar, but sure made me laugh...I'm a member at a local slimming club and the amount of clothing that people are prepared to take off before weighing in is really a laugh!

Hi Shaz, happy Friday. I'm still laughing at your post....first bit was funny then the scales drew a loud laugh and the seal ...well says it all. So trying to lose some weight so very appropriate for me. Did you get the storm this week. Hugs Robyn

As Julia says it is such a strange item to be sent in error from someone who sells Spellbinder dies...but then maybe some crafters do need a calming collar from time to time eh? :-) That laughing seal real made me chuckle too :-)
Hugs,

He he - someone made a slip-up there! As for weight loss - my gall bladder problem meant I had to go on a fat free diet and even then ended up quite poorly. As a result I have lost 2 stone! Needless to say I don't recommend it!!

I can't believe that a dog collar came from Spellbinders. I think I would ask them what all they sell. Might be interesting to find out. Going for my physical next week. Think I'll try that when they weigh me. It would help. Love the seal. So cute. Hugs

I'm still laughing over a "not so funny" event for you. I hope Spellbinders sends you something extra for their error. You deserve it.

HAPPY WEEKEND!

Thank you for the giggles, Shaz! I imagine all the husbands in the world who would pay good money for a similar product for their wives - including mine!! Have a great weekend! Hugs, Darnell

I laughed out loud at your post Shaz. Although I'm not sure what a spell binders die is, it obviously isn't a dog collar! So funny. We've just had our first snow here yesterday-your summer sounds wonderful. :-)
Blessings,
Betsy

It's nice to know I can purchase dog items along with Spellbinder products. That's very convenient!! I love the funnies especially the both feet one.

Well, here I am after a long not commenting spell....beached whale? Not you, ever my girl....you will never be one either.
You are busy, I am busy...had an order for 40 Christmas cards...augh!! All done and dusted but that set me back a bit.
Take care, oh, how did you fare in the storm?
