Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Christmas Card Upcycled - Die Cut Inside Image

Hullo there everyone! Well, had this ultra cute card from Christmas last year. Decided for Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge, it needed upcycling to make a child's card ~ that was this week's criteria.
So decided to use a die cut inside image.. to see how to do this step by step (as it's bit tricky but not hard), see this step by step post here .. it is so well worth it
These are (to me) a new Spellbinder Labels 25, and like them as they are quite big but still fit into the bug! Used with Christmas white embossing folder from winter wonderland set, hard to see tartan 5 x 7" folder and bit of bling with gold paper highlighted edging!
Just love the Aussie animals on this card - there is a bird, Kookaburra, two marsupials Koala (not a bear) and Wombat... and "P-e-a-c-e" ~ "We have peace with God, through (His Christmas gift) the LORD Jesus Christ". Rom 5:1
Thanks so much for popping, thanks even more if you stop for a chat! May the LORD bless your day wherever you may be!

PS French pickies from trip there in post below :D where le tour was..

As you well know, making cards aren't my "thing" but I sure enjoy looking at your creations. I do send lots of cards to people for different reasons and I wish I had an iota of your talent to make my own.

Have a lovely weekend my friend,

What a perfect die to work with your other diecut & the sweet Aussie animals. Enlarging did bring up the EF design as well. A very cute & cleverly crafted card. Nothing wrong with YOUR eyesight, my friend! TFS & Happy Friday. Hugs

Great idea to use the die cuts this way.
Thanks for your comments on my rusty notebook, LOL. I always use the read more function, because I use a lot of photo's and it makes scrolling through the home page to previous posts faster. I see how it can be confusing =)
Have a lovely weekend

What a wonderful up-cycled card. I did make sure to go back and read your "how to" post again, thinking I should maybe start so Christmas cards early this year.
