Thank you for taking time to visit, and I hope I am even a tiny bit helpful as I have been helped and blessed by so many others. I have been doing Calligraphy since teens, and card making for many years as well. In 1990 I delighted in the joys of stamping with ink and embossing after a trip to Cairns, Qld. In 2009 I discovered the brayer, 2010 the Cuttlebug, also have now taking to reading up on crafting blogs and lo! Here I am, on one of my own.

I live on the coast of eastern Australia. I am a Christian. I trusted in the LORD down here at the beach, amazingly it is not far from where I now live. It was over 50 years ago, after a Beach Mission Service at the age of 12 years

Snippets Cards for Christmas!

Hi there everyone - well just realised it is three months til Christmas so thought better make this one - if you read my WOYWW post later you will see I was supposed to be working on something else - but hey, that does not really matter does it? as long as it all gets done in the long run.
This was a brayered snippet which I did forever ago it is brayered piece with Kaleidacolor Blue Breeze with post it note of glossy card, the stamped and embossed with SU Lovely as a tree set.

Mounted on blue lattice rectangle Spellbinder and then on purple card which I deepened to ink colour (see this Wednesday's desk post< you can see me doing it for WOYWW). Added a silver peel off for greeting. So would like to enter this in Di's Snippets challenge and have a play in the playground (swings please!! get giddy on merry go around!). Snippets were purple + black card + image.
I thought would enter it in the Christmas Card Challenge over at Sarn's - see Sandra of Stamping for pleasure. I think it has something to do with reindeer's (or was it chickens??) but mine is hiding behind the trees! :D
Thanks so very much everyone for popping over for a peek and chat - and may the LORD bless your day in a special way wherever you may be!
Shaz in Oz.x

PS. don't you hate the way you dont remember everything?? As was finishing this card off, I thought of the Craft a Scene Challenge. which this month is "Trees", see here and then forgot when I posted it!
And B. left a comment to remind me! So there you are, friends always come in handy.
PPS. Oops, I am sorry, Sarn, it is is not "Lovely as tree" set - funny how 0ne forgets - it is the Victorine Originals tree cluster stamp.. see this post here where also used it, they are a US stamp company. sell unmounted stamps - bought mine on eBay, but they sell on their site too.
PPPS. Oh and guess what just picking myself up off the floor!
Thanks so much to the wonderful ladies at this Challenge blog ~ they do such a marvellous job, and are a great inspiration!

As my Gran always used to say Shaz " two heads are better than one", so at least between as we got there.

Have already told you how much I admire your card, so just remains for me to thank you for joining us that Craft a Scene challenge this month.

Lovely scene, just makes me go "brrr" with those icy colors you used. Lattice rectangle is so perfect with this card, very delicate...fits the 'snowy' look just right. TFS
